We only have one day too spend and so we picked the Disneyland park. Will we have less crowds going on a Thursday in October than on a Friday?

We will be there Thursday Oct 15th and I see they have extended hours and fireworks added so I am sure it won't be empty, but I was hoping for less crowds than a weekend...:confused3

We plan to arrive at opening...take a break and then go back for evening.:goodvibes

I know Pete says DL park gets more crowded than WDW MK since it is smaller.

Thanks for any advice?? Any good places to watch fireworks at DL?

We have an ADR for Naples for dinner around 4:30 that day. Any advice is much appreciated.:goodvibes

I know we must do HM,SM,Indiana Jones and Pirates no matter what!

I am very excited........

Congrats on your first Disneyland Trip!

Hard to tell on the crowds. It should be less crowded thursday than friday but I know they have the TOT party at California Adventure that night, I don't know if that affects the attendance. Someone else should really help you on this one. :rolleyes1

As far as a good place to watch fireworks, my personal favorite spot is right in front of the castle. This is the favorite for a lot of other people too so make sure you grab a good spot early.

HM offers fast pass during halloween season, make sure you take advantage of it, it does get pretty crowded later on the day.

Maybe we'll see you there, oct. 15th will be the last day of our trip!

It'll be quite crowded, even on a Thurs, b/c a large number of schools have that week off for fall break (including the school my kids go to). Just get there early and utilize fast passes and you'll be fine.

Best place to see the fireworks is in front of the castle. A lot of people also like it from the back by IASW. I've also seen them from the platform at the train station on Main St. and liked it, although you do have to contend with some trees that way.

Be sure to ride Alice in Wonderland. It's a great ride and they don't have it at WDW. There are others, but that one is one of my favorites. :)
