I feel so lost! Last trip to WDW we went and walked around the Citiwalk and I can't believe how huge Universal has gotten since '91!

We're planning to go to Universal for a few days before we got to WDW this August and I don't even know where to start. I just signed up for the Lowe's first card and that's as far as I've gotten. ;)

The RP resort looks pretty but can you walk to the parks from it?

We toured the HRH when we were there and it looked pretty cool, great pool and I liked how close it was to everything.

We went to the PBH and it looked really relaxing.

Which would you recommend for a 1st trip? We also have 2 liitle ones going, is 1 better for kids then other?

Any tips you can give me would help tons because I'm clueless about Universal!

Thanks in advance!

We just got back from RP with 3 girls ages 6,4 and 1. We absolutely loved it! We were in tower one. We could see IOA rides and river from our window. We were in the closest tower to IOA and citywalk. We walked half the time because it was quicker than the water taxi from our room. The walk was well landscaped and pleasant. We usually rode the boat back since the kids liked it and were tired. We loved the pool area. It had zero entry and a cool water play area. With the Lowes card, we had quick check-in and the kids got pails and shovels for the sand beach. Front of the line access can't be beat when you have kids who aren't tall enough for everything. We will definetely go back. It was beautiful! The only thing I didn't like, was that they sometimes close the pool for private parties in the evenings. They were doing this the day we checked out so it didn't effect us, but if you are paying to stay there , they shouldn't close the pool. Any questions?

You can pool hop though.

We stayed at HRH and loved it 2 years ago and we're trying RPR this time. I think they both have awesome pools. I'd just pick one based on your tastes. The kids will love them both!

My kids are 2,2,2,11. I stay where i like and they love it. We always take the kids to PBH and they love it there. They my 11 yo did'nt care for the HRH she was dispointed in it after staying at PBH. She did'nt care for the walking, the style of it ect. She liked the pool but said that it was too crowd and the PBH was "just as good."LOL So go for what you like your kids will be happy.
