1st Time Poster w/ ??

Hi everyone!

A friend of mine told me about this site and I'm so glad that she did

I've been to WDW twice...once when I was 5 and once in 1999 on my honeymoon. We're planning on going back in 2 years as a Magical Gatherings trip. It will be my in-law's, and brother-in-law and his family of 5. Plus our family of 4. My twins will be 5 at that time.

Anyway, my questions are kind of easy...I think This site seems very overwhelming at first and I'm unsure of which boards I should be posting on. My main questions are going to be about the Magical Gatherings family planning and planning with younger kids. We'll only be staying at the park, so no cruises this time. Maybe next time

If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be greatly appreciative Thanks so much! So happy to be here!

First, Welcome to the boards and to the best bunch of "addicts" you'll ever meet!

Regarding your planning for a grand gathering...there is no specific board for gatherings. Just use the theme park strategies, resort, and dining boards to get your info. If you post a question, you may want to specify it for a gathering. If you do a search you'll find lots of things that have been asked and answered on gatherings already.

I'm planning a Grand Gathering myself for 13 of us Christmas 2006 so you'll probably see me in some of those posts!

Family board is a good suggestion, I would also recommend..Resorts board and the DVC rental board...you really might want to consider a 3 brm, or a 2 brm if any of the kids are small. There are tons of choices, and I love the Budget board for helping find the deals/saving $$$ Also you should start looking into AP room rates vs reg room rates, and the DDE with that many people going..it would really make sense (unless you plan to cook in your room). Only one person needs it and I think you can have up to 10 guests. I am PM ing you with another tip.
