1st time I have ever gotten this message from Disney Dining

Just called and waited on hold for about 5 minutes and then a message came on that said "Due to unforseen circumstances we are unable to answer your call. Please call again".
Yesterday I was on hold for 30 mins before I gave up.
Anyone know what is going on today besides the 90 day Christmas window?

I think it MAY be due to the weather problems that Diseny has had. I called in before and the guy I was talking with said he had gotten a lot of calls from concerned vacationers. Not sure but hope that helps!

The hurricane Jeanne created havoc with the ps procedure. I called for Christmas Eve and was told to call back after September 29. Of course I selfishly stayed on hold because Christmas Eve will be very important for my family. We have a guest from Australia who is away from his family for the first time over the holidays. Anyway, I was on hold 1 hr and 20 minutes but I got our ps'. I guess Florida is having a very tough time with 4 hurricanes in a little over a month.

Well I was surprised to get dropped basically. Not even had option on holding an hour- Not like I would have anyway.
Those poor CM's. I sure hope everyone is extra nice to them.

While I'm sure that the hurricane is having an impact, I think there is more to it than that. A month ago people were reporting two hour waits to make Thanksgiving PS times.

When I called last weekend I had 45 minute waits both days. The CM I spoke with said he was in Kansas rather than Orlando.

I called at 12:30EST and only waited about 20 minutes. I think it is getting better!

Got in at 12:30. To our disappointment, prime desired seating times on Dec 25th at our restaurant of choice (for party of 5) were gone. They still had room for 4 though in the normal time frames theough.

Just this morning, I recieved the message. I don't know if I got in because things came back online - the one thing I did do differrently was to key in my resort ressie number instead of the home phone number when prompted..

I'd like to change my ps and it's only for November 1!!! I don't think I would ever wait on hold for over an hour!!You people are serious about your PS!!
