Hello all. This board has been so helpful and I read the info I need before but can't, for the life of me, find it now. Can someone please tell me the order of the rides to ride in Fantasyland and Toontown first thing in the morning? We do have a MM so we will take advantage of that but I remember someone having the EXACT listing order.

Second question, I keep hearing about this Fantasmic thing. Where is it and will it be going on 4/3? I don't see it on the calendar. Is this in Disneyland? What is it?

Third question- Where should we sit for Fireworks in Disneyland? I have a four year old who will want to see?

Fourth question- Where should we sit for Parade of Dreams? We have to go to the 3:30 showing. Ditto on the four year old thing.

Thank you!!!!!!!

Peter Pan first.

I'm sorry that's all I can remember. :scared:

Aha, googled and got a post from January 2007 from our lovely and talented DangerMouse:

This is our order:

Peter Pan first!
Dumbo
Toad
Alice
Teacups
Matterhorn
Buzz
Space (grab fp for space after b/c it is usually opening time by then)

We find that Snow White and Pinnochio can be caught at a later time because the lines don' ever get too long on those.

With ToonTown, there's only Gadget's coaster and Roger Rabbit in there (rides, I mean). RR has a fast pass machine, but if you're there first thing when it opens, in my experience you can just go on it. Or grab a fast pass then go on it and have that FP for later. Then do the coaster. Or grab a FP for Roger Rabbit, ride the coaster, then ride RR? I don't know that the order in TT is all that important. :)

I checked the calendar, and since it's a Thursday not in the height of summer or the holidays, it looks like Fantasmic isn't showing. It's a light, water, pyrotechnics sort of show in the Rivers of America, at night, on weekends and during holiday seasons. I've never seen it.

Someone else will have to answer for the fireworks, I've only watched them from back at Small World, and with it being closed, I heard they don't have that seating right now.

Parade of Dreams...I like watching parades from in front of the bathrooms to the side of, sort of behind, Alice's ride. You're across from Matterhorn, and there's only one side where people are allowed to sit/stand. It's nice to watch a parade right next to bathrooms! It also comes by that area closer to 3:30 than if you watch from the hub or near the entrance. :)

Isn't Nemo open for MM? With a 4 year old and if you are one of the first onesthrough the gates, I would run straight over to Nemo. Grab a FP for Space Mountain if ou might ride it. The head over to Peter Pan.

Don't forget that Roger Rabbit's fastpass is not on line with the other Fastpass machines. So you can grab one and not have it interfere with your other fast passes.

Hydroguy had a great suggestion for the order for fastpasses a few weeks ago if you want to search for that. He may have added it to the sticky with his other tips

If only one day MM (imo) i wouldn't waste 2/3 of MM on Nemo. Do it (if at all ;)) late in an evening or first thing on another morning.

& regarding the order....Toadie (which i dearly love) doesn't get as long a line as quickly as Alice & Matterhorn. The most recent HydroGuy listing (which i agree with) is:

- PP (always first)
- Dumbo
- Alice (bathroom next door fyi)
- Matterhorn (perhaps both sides)
- Teacups/Toadie (either order)
- Carousel/SW/Pinochio (any order) & SW & Pinocchio can be delayed til later if necessary since they're usually walk on most of the day.

- If time left..... then over to Buzz or SM to ride & then grab a FP at SM or Indy to start the day on "the hour".

:)

Third question- Where should we sit for Fireworks in Disneyland? I have a four year old who will want to see?

Since your other questions have been well answered, I recommend finding spots in the hub preferably towards the front of the castle to see the fireworks. There are special effects near the castle that your 4 yo will want to see and being farther back might block his view. There are also projected images on top of the Matterhorn that are fun to watch.

For the parade, sit on the side where the sun won't be in your eyes. Other than that, anywhere on the parade route is fine, although my favorite spots would be along Main Street (try the area in front of Coke Corner).

For the fireworks, I would recommend looking for a place where you have a good view of the castle and the top of the Matterhorn to see the projections that DLR29 mentioned. The fireworks themselves frame the castle, and are a little to the left of it.

Isn't Nemo open for MM? With a 4 year old and if you are one of the first onesthrough the gates, I would run straight over to Nemo. Grab a FP for Space Mountain if ou might ride it. The head over to Peter Pan.

I don't know...even though we were off Nemo inside half an hour during the MM we did this, I know that half an hour into MM while in the Peter Pan area, that line is sick-and-wrong long already. So it's *maybe* half an hour to do Nemo, then you do Peter Pan, and then MM is done and the lines have grown for Alice and dumbo and now you have to compete with the rest of the world....:scared:

(man I'm dramatic this evening)

I think if you have one MM, pick either Nemo or Fantasyland, depending on your family.

If you have more than one, then one day do Nemo and the other day Fantasyland (and any further days well you're just lucky to be staying so long at a Disneyland Resort hotel so I have no sympathy for you needing to choose, LOL).

Fantasmic is a 20 minute outdoor show that is viewed from the New Orleans Square and Frontierland area. But according to these two calendars (here and here) it isn't scheduled for Thursday, April 3. :sad1:

HTH :earsboy:

ETA: Oops, I see bumbershoot addressed F! in an earlier post. Sorry. :)

Hey, you gave far more info than I did, thanks for doing it! :)

Thank you all for your replies. I have been majorly stressed about not missing anything! I have word docs with all the places to sit and ride orders ready to go. I think we may skip Nemo or I may make my dad go stand in that line! Fantasyland is more important to us. Thank you again!!

We just got back and did 2 MM's. We did FL the first day, in this order:
Peter Pan
Dumbo- we were the only people on the ride
Matterhorn
Alice- got in line but it was temp. down
Mr. Toad
Snow White
Pinocchio
Tea Cups
Alice- we were right there when it opened again

This was all done by 8:00. I ran over and grabbed Space FP's while DH took the kids on Matterhorn again. We then did Storybook canals. We then did Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, then used SM FP's before heading to DCA for opening.

The other MM day, we were at the gates by 6:20. We were about 4th in line at our gate. We ran to Nemo (told a few times to walk) and got on the 2nd sub. By the time we were done, it was 7:40. We then did Autopia and finished at 8:15. So, we got on many more rides doing FL. Nemo was cute but if I only had one day, I would focus on FL. Most people run to Nemo so the rides were empty until 7:30.

I suggest finding a spot on a bench either near the Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue or along Main Street or if you can't find a bench spot, find a section of the curb to sit on facing the castle. For the Parade, I always like to sit on a bench along the side of the castle near the Matterhorn.
