1st time at BCV in Dec

I am planning to be there Sun and leave Fri. I have DS is 3 and DD is 2. Is that enough days? I don't expect to see all the parks, just visit the resorts and ck out the Christmas decorations.

I want to relax and enjoy it. Should I add more days? If so, add to the beginning or extend the end?

We have done 5 days at this very time. As long as your goal is to do Xmas related things and not rides, you should be fine. Having a car to get between resorts (Grand Floridian, BC, YC, BW, WL, AKL, Contemporary are our favorites for decorations) will greatly reduce the time needed to see the gingerbread house, carousel, Xmas trees, etc. Be sure to have tickets for MVMCP one of the days you are there. Your kids are probably too young to really appreciate CP and even the special MVMCP and Epcot fireworks at this time of year may not appeal to them. The intensity of WDW and Xmas all rolled into one can be hard on kids. Maybe 5 days is about enough to avoid a meltdown.
We had my niece (age 3) with us Dec. 4 - 9 this year and she loved it, but 5 days seemed about right for her. (She has been to WDW before and will go again next year, so no pressure to "do it all.")

I also think that by avoiding the weekends, you'll be with fewer people at the parks that you do enjoy.

PS. We're going to VWL for 5 nights in August with a 1,2 and 3 year old. Now there will be 4 adults for all days and 6 adults on 2 of them, so lots of helping hands. We're hoping it works out, for us and for you too!

We like 6 night trips pretty well. We usually come in Saturday and go home on Friday when we do a six night trip. That way we have the weekend to get ready to go back to work (go to the grocery store, catch up on mail, etc.).

We went to BCV for seven nights this past December (the first week) and it was wonderful. The crowds were really light so we were able to enjoy all the attractions and still have some relaxing time. Every time we go to WDW the time seems too short and I wish I had planned a longer trip!! Have a great time!
