So it is one of those movies where they took the name only and the movie has nothing to do with the original story. If it was called "Sorcerer Wars" or "The Wizard of New York" then it looks like and interesting film. But using the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" title is going to let a lot of people down.

back in july or august i got to see a very rough cut of this movie in an online survey that i was doing. no special effects and sound was real crappy glad to see this is moving right along now.

Well, it may not be too disappointing. In the last twenty seconds or so you can see the brooms and all the water hah. It does look like an amazing movie, I can't wait for it to come out!

This looks like a really cool movie along with Prince of Persia. Disney may well have 2 blockbusters on their hands this summer.

This is an odd one. I can't for the life of me figure out why they'd name it after the segment in Fantasia. If you're going to do that, at least play the recognizable music cue. If you saw this without the title on it, you would never in a million years make the Fantasia connection. If it wasn't for the fact that it was a Disney movie, I'd say the title was pure coincidence.
