1st Pre-Trip Report But Our 4th Time At Mickey's House

Now that the kids have fallen in love with R n RC DHS is their favorite place to go too. I asked DS last night where he'd like to go first since we are driving down that day. He says DHS. I was like, "What!? Why?" Duh, Aerosmith. With a few quick fixes this could be the perfect park.

Aww yeah alot of the older kids like the thrill rides , it seems like once they get to about 5 or 6 there hooked My kiddies haven't really got in to the thrill rides yet but of course me and my husband don't really care for them either so maybe that's why . I also have major motion sickness so there's quite a few big rides that are off limits to me

Sounds like a great plan! Toy Story Mania is one of my top favorites of all the parks! I didn't understand what all the fuss was about til we rode it and then I was hooked! What is the "Flavor Burst" ice cream cart?

Thanks We have never rode Toy Story Mania yet We are soo looking forward to it My oldest son use to be obsessed with Toy Story now it's Pirates but we all still love Toy Story , you could resit anything Disney

The Flavor Burst I read about on someones trip report . Supposedly outside of Rock-N Roller Coaster there is a cart that serves Ice Cream that they can add what ever flavor you want to it . For example the person that had it in there trip report had vanilla ice cream with cotton candy flavoring in it and said they have lots of flavors that you could do . It sounded so good I made a note of it and decide that I would have to try it this trip

We will only devote one day to Animal Kingdom also and probably will not do any park hopping to this park at all .

First I want to start off by saying we are at our 2 week mark today

Now that I got that out of my system let me tell a little about our plans for Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon . We plan on devoting only one day a piece for each park . However we probably won't stay at either park until close . We usually get there right at opening and stay till right after lunch , the kids love getting there lunch in a bucket I'm not gonna make a list of attractions we are gonna do for these two because we stay in two basic areas at each . Which are Tikes Peak at Blizzard Beach & Ketchakiddee Creek at Typhoon Lagoon , with our kids ages they seem to prefer these areas . Will also probably take a spin on lazy rivers at both parks as a family .

Thanks sweetie I'm sure they will too , we took them to the Ocean back in February and they loved swimming in the hotel pool , they all seem to be getting into to swimming more now than they have been in the past

Aww thanks I always make them the medium size on photo bucket , do you think the large would be better ? We really like the water park also , although the kiddies really don't know how to swim yet so that limits us from doing alot of things , tried using the life vest with them last year but it really didn't seem to make a difference . Would really like to get them in swim lessons this summer so they could enjoy water activities more . I know the trip is coming up so fast and I have nothing ready , gonna go this weekend and pick-up the things I need from the store like sunscreen, batteries , snacks, etc. May start a little packing this weekend not sure yet though, since I stay at home most of the time , I have plenty of time to pack our suitcases. I could stop by and get you , the hubby might find that a little strange but I could do it .

Awww thanks for joining my pre-trip report , I hope it turns out to be a fun trip , you never know . lol I think everyone wishes they could come along , I think I would have to rent a plane if I took everyone We are staying 7 days & 8 nights at CBR for the first time , we stayed at PORFQ last year and really loved it but wanted to try somewhere new this year .

Epcot is our least favorite park and for some reason it has been mine since I was a kid So we usually spend little time here as possible, in fact sometimes I think I could do without even going to Epcot , if it wasn't for the food !

You might want to check out the new Pixie Hollow garden near Test Track. There are topiaries of the fairies and their little houses and I read that everyday at 2:00 there is a Fairy Princess parade for the children. Your DD might enjoy this area.
