1st or 2nd week June, 2013

Realized I'll have enough points on AT to convert to 2 RT vouchers soon for SWA. Don't want 'to waste them' on less expensive short flight to MCO, figure a trip back to DL may be in order.

We've visited before and found the last week of June busier than I had expected. Was hoping either the 1st or 2nd week of June would be less crowded. Are there any annual events in the area I should be aware of that would make either week better?

Likely would only spend 4 or 5 nights onsite (would like to stay @ DLH again since the rennovations looked very interesting, especially the pool area) and throw in 2 or 3 nights in vegas as we have on prior trips. We usually fly into Vegas on a Saturday and then short hop over to SNA and DL. Would there be any advantage as to lower crowds to arrive @ DL late afternoon on Saturday vs a Wednesday?

I checked the anaheim convention center's calendar and only see something called 2013PlanetPTCLive from 6/7 to 6/14 but not sure if the calendar is finalized or how many will be attending that convention.

There is a DL official site; google will probably find it for you. This page lists a lot of event dates including the grad nights:

There are also a lot of school groups that go in early June. It didn't seem as bad last year, but in the past I've been thoroughly annoyed by these teens literally running around the park in hoards and sometimes not well supervised by adults.

Pay close attention the the AP blockout days also. Saturday may be a much better day to go if APs are blocked. It was the least crowded day of our trip last year as a lot of people with the So. Cal passes were trying to get a last summer trip in during the week before their passes were blocked for the summer. It was PACKED with locals!

above site showed this for june, does it mean that WOC is closed to all but the grads those nights?

For 2013, Seniors will again have access to both Parks during the day. At night, the party moves over to Disney California Advenure with a private showing of World of Color and access to Cars Land.
