Bid the highest star level on priceline and you should be able to get something for $28 to $34. Usually for us it's been the Marriot, although it's also been the Holiday Inn Select and Renaissance.

If you use PL ONLY BID 3*. Although the 2.5 and 2* properties may be OK some of them don't offer a 24 hour free shuttle. A $10 cab ride will wipe out your savings.

Actually we've always had a free shuttle with the 2.5 properties, but I still would not bid below the highest star level. Reason is, you can end up with the SLUM La Quinta on Daetwyler Drive if you bid below that. It is NOT the La Quinta Suites, which is in the same area and which is fine. It's a DUMP! We waited for the counter person for literally 30 minutes one time, and there were people ahead of us who waited longer. When she appeared, she said, "Sorry. I bring my kids to work with me, and I was feeding them." We were supposed to get free breakfast, but it was nowhere to be had. Then my husband pointed out it was because the workers were all bringing the food out to their cars! And that was just a couple of our experiences there...there were worse ones, so I finally stopped bidding at that level.

Barb--According to BFT some of the 2.5 properites (Amerisuties?) stop the free shuttle at 11:00p or midnight.

The first nite was not discounted so we are staying at the Rodeway Inn we will use the day to shop the outlets before settling in on the Disney grounds the following day.
The price was $30 and DU booked it for us
Have a disney nite:earsboy:

I was worried about the midnight stops, but I called the Amerisuites (not sure which one, but we've stayed at them two or three times via Priceline) and they said they will pick up 24 hours (our flight came in around 12:30). Best to double check that though...not sure if that's only in certain seasons or all the time.
