1st Night Dinner Recommendation

Arriving 9/23 by noon. Plan on going to MK that afternoon. Can't decide on where to eat dinner for me, DH & DD(4). Thought we stay and eat at CRT for dinner since we'll already be in MK. Question: Are all the characters there for dinner, including Cinderella? Is the food decent? Should we leave the park and and to Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900? My DD is a total princess fanatic. Saving Chef Mickeys for breakfast on another day. Please help need to make ADRs soon!

We haven't eaten at CRT for dinner but we did enjoy 1900 Park Fare. When we were there a couple of years ago, Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother were in the waiting area. We were visited by Suzy, Perla, Aladdin and Cinderella at our table. The food was really good (and I am always looking for an excuse to check out the Grand Floridian ) Besides, who can resist a monorail ride?

It's probably too late to get CRT now, although I could be wrong. Those spots tend to fill up really quickly, and all ADRs are available 180 days before the date, so ADRs for the day you're asking for would have opened up in March.

Crystal Palace is really nice, and it's in MK. The food is good and your DD will probably like the Pooh characters.

If you're really hoping to eat with princesses and you find CRT is booked up, you could try Akershus in Epcot as well, probably not on your first day, but maybe later in the trip. They've got a rotating cast of princesses (usually not Cinderella, however) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I don't think CRT has Characters for dinner in dinning area, I did see Cinderella in the waiting area before dinner for like 5 mins.

We are going to Ohana's for dinner the first night
