We are arriving @ MCO about 11:30 pm. We want to stay off site that first night. Anyone ever stay at the Quality Suites Maingate East? Any other recomendations?

I haven't stayed where you mentioned, but I have used the travelzoo site to find specials. There recently was one for the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista for $39. We haven't stayed there yet, but we will be soon. We've also stayed at a Radisson with a travelzoo promotion.

Thanks Bobbi for the info. Great site!! There are 5 of us, so we would need 3 or 4 beds. Quality Suites has a 1 BR for $75. Didn't think that was too bad.

Wow! That's a late flight. Checkout mousesaver.com They have some great rates listed for Buena Vista Suites thru 12/21 - $89 for a 1 BR suite - 2 Queen beds with a pull out sofa. The rate includes breakfast. I haven't stayed at this resort but I do know the location. It would be an easy drive from the airport and would put you close to Disney for checkin the next day.

Yes, it's very close to WDW. We haven't stayed there, but that's thanks to our airline. We had ressies there, but our flight was delayed, meaning we missed our connection so instead of BV Suites, we stayed at Houston Airport. However, I took note of the location when we finally arrived at WDW. Hopefully, we'll get to stay there the first night next time.

I just made our first night reservation - and we're staying at the Residence Inn LBV. Fortunately, I was able to get a great government rate (thanks to DH) for a 1 BR suite (2 queen beds in the bedroom) and sleeper sofa plus free breakfast. I'm looking forward to checking out a new place - and writing a review!

There used to be a trick to getting the Airport hotel at a great rate...I am sure it's around here somewhere. Then at least you only have to pay transportation for 1 trip. The same holds true for staying onsite at a value (ME will bring you and then disney transportation can move you).

Just something to keep in mind...besides the cost of the room...if you are not renting a car.
