Reading thru some of the PTR's I decided to get some input. Would love to hear how you like our plans.
Just to let you know this trip is my 5th and my daughter's 4th. We are both a bit older than many of the others who have posted, I am 55, will be 56 by the time we arrive. My daughter will be turning 23 yrs on our last full day.
Here is our schedule:
May 29: Arrive at resort @11:30a We will check in, if room is ready will unload the car. We will have lunch and purchase our refillable mug before heading to the park. Our first park will be MK, plan to arrive sometime before 2p. We have Dinner ADR's for Tony's Town Square (loved it on last trip.
May 30: Epcot with Dinner ADR's at Garden Grill (sort of a tradition with us).
May 31: DHS with Dinner ADR's at Mama Melrose w/Fantasmic Pkg (1st time at this restaurant).
June 1: AK have Lunch ADR's at Tusker House w/Nemo pkg (did breakfast here, first time for lunch). Dinner ADR's at Boma (first time here).
June 2: DTD, lunch plans at Earl of Sandwich, Dinner ADR's at Cap'n Jacks with tickets for Cirque du Soleil. (love Earls, first time for the rest)
Jun 3: Back to MK, Lunch ADR's at the Plaza Restaurant, hoping the Wishes dessert party will open some dates, otherwise counter service for dinner.
June 4: Back to Epcot, Dinner ADR's at Rose & Crown (first time here)
June 5: Back to DHS, Dinner ADR's at Cape May Cafe (loved it last time).
June 6: Back to Epcot and hope to see Boardwalk this time, Dinner ADR's at Boatwrights in POR, then with a reservation to do the Carriage Ride.
June 7: Back to AK, with Dinner ADR's at Shutters (never been there and have read mixed reviews, but will find out for myself.)
June 8: Open Day, Daughters Birthday. We have Breakfast ADR's at Ohanas. After we will hit what ever park we choose or vegg around the resort. We do have Dinner ADR's at Chefs de France, she took French in HS and has wanted to do Chefs for some time and since it is her B'day, well she gets what she wants. Also Stitch is one of her fav's and we did the breakfast once before so back we go.
June 9: Time to check out, we will have breakfast at POFQ after loading the car.
We try not to schedule what rides in what order, tho we do know to hit a few first or get FP's where necessary. We also want to do some counter service meals in places we have not tried before, so we hope to hit places like the Tangerine Cafe, Toy Story Pizza Planet and Flame Tree BBQ. We also plan to make a lunch trip to Pop Century, we just have to have some Tie Dye Cheesecake.
We do like to see the parades and fireworks at least once in each of the parks and will work them in as we please. I just know it is futal for me to schedule rides and such as I have mobility problems and so it takes longer to get from place to place. Also, I really do not like to keep to a tight schedule, just as long as I am where I need to be for ADR's and other reservations, I am happy.
