Hi all. We're taking my DH's family down in a couple of weeks and staying at the boardwalk. We have preferred but non-boardwalk view. I'm assuming most of those rooms overlook a pool?
We were wondering what the first floor rooms are like. Can you walk out of the balcony into the pool area? Do you feel the world is looking in at you? We have 5 small kids this trip (oldest is 8) and we thought it might be easier if we could get right out to the pool. Plus, if we're on the first floor the pitter patter of little feet won't bother anyone below us.
The only problem--are a lot of the first floor rooms handicap accessible? Those rooms don't work for us (I know first hand, we've gotten one by pure luck on the last FOUR trips! It's a running joke now)
BTW, I love the recent posts about taking family. We are taking my in-laws and my SIL's family. I figure it will be like childbirth--extremely painful but wouldn't trade it for anything!
