Ok folks, first trip with the family, DP(artner) DD10, DD9 and DM. I think I have all my ADR's that I want to do done, and wanted to know what you vets think of the plans. We are all foodies, even the kids, and look forward to eating new places as much as the attractions. Is this Too much? Too Little? Not enough Character Meals?

We are at WDW staying at SSR from June 9th to the 14th. (we are staying another week after this at my Sisters not too far from Orlando)

Dinner - LTT 6.35 pm

06/11 Free Day ( Disney Quest, DTD, Whatever Etc.)

Thoughts? AM I nuts? TIA :cool1:

Your first trip, how exciting!! Ok, lets see...
First day looks great. My biggest piece of advice, be at the gate at opening of each day, no later. The lines form fast, and its SO worth it to be there early. Don't dilly dally, get the kids up and out and on that bus.

Second day...Tusker House. I may change that time to 8:00 am. That way you'll be at rope drop at 9. Head straight for Expedition Everest if that ride is for you, you may not get on it if you're not right there at opening. Grab a fast pass too. Oh, and whatever you do, DO NOT MISS Festival of the Lion King at AK, it is fantastic. But line up early, this show fills up.

Free Day...try Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. Cheap sandwiches and very delicious. Fun day, have lots of money for World of Disney store, you'll love it.

MGM day...I would strongly suggest Prime Time Cafe for you and the kids. Tons of fun and laughs for lunch.

Epcot day looks great, you'll love Le Cellier, especially the cheese soup and breadsticks, yum!

Your plan looks great. Be sure to go back to your room or pool for a break every day, you and your kids will thank you! Have a blast, I know you will.:)

A couple options to think about: To us, Sci Fi is a MUST in MGM. DD and DS have LOVED that since their first trip. Since you don't really need a dining package for Fantasmic, could you do Sci Fi early lunch and Brown Derby later evening dinner? you can always go back to your resort for a break in between and catch the later show in the Park. MGM will be open longer in June.
(check the resort button above for the EMH-evening in each park) It helps tremendously to coordinate your dining with the park that has EMH each day--you can go back to the resort for some R & R and still have plenty of hours left to go to the EMH park (which will stay open 3 hours later than normal.) and "close it down". Our kids think that's awesome because they can do all the rides over and over again:thumbsup2

Your choices look excellent just the way they are. This is an agenda that I would make for myself; I've eaten at all of these places and you have put together a great selection with some nice variety. I hope you all have a fantastic time; we'll be there a few weeks before you for our second trip this year!

Thanks so much! I will call about changing to 8 am for tusker house! I've read some good things about Earl of Sandwhich! I'll pencil it in as an idea for lunch! And World of Disney is calling our names ;) Thanks for your input! :goodvibes

Wow! Thanks for the advice! I'm noting down Sci - fi for a possible lunch. My girls would probably love it. We have Hoppers so I'm gathering the evening EMH's for us to hit. None hit on our scheduled "park days" but resting at the resort and heading back for late night sounds fun! :cloud9:

Thanks so much!! :goodvibes I love to have variety. I'm sure we'll have a BLAST and I hope you do too!!! :yay:
