1st Birthday Cake - Yo Gabba Gabba

A friend of mine asked if I could make her daughter's 1st birthday cake. She wanted Yo Gabba Gabba with a matching smash cake. This is what I made:

I'm so excited for her to see it tomorrow... I had to show someone!!! I hope she loves it and uses me for future cakes (she's engaged to a Green Bay Packer! - a wedding cake would be AWESOME to do!)

Awesome job! I'm sure your friend (and her daughter!) will love them. As someone who has tried (and failed) to decorate cakes, I can appreciate your talent and the amount of time you put into them. Just looking at all that green frosting makes my hands hurt!

Haha! That's too funny! Well, my 3 year old daughter decided to try to deconstruct the smash cake this morning (and the cake is getting picked up tonight!) She ate the left eye, mouth, flower & part of the "N" before I caught her! I told her she's going to be on Santa's naughty list now. Sassy girl! Luckily I was able to fix it.

She absolutely loved it! The whole family seemed thrilled about it.. I'm so glad! She plans to brag me up on Facebook so maybe I'll get some more orders from it. I saw that her fiance got a lot of play time in the game tonight which was awesome too!
