We're going for our first multi-day trip with our 4 year old this fall. Mom, Dad, munchkin, and Nana at POR in a Royal Room for 8 days with 7 day park hopper tickets (free DDP, Yay!)

Tues, Oct 30. Arrive in the am, get tickets, head to a park until check in time. Check in, nap, then dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare. Back to Epcot or DHS for fireworks or Fantasmic.

Wednesday, Oct. 31. Halloween! MK breakfast at Crystal Palace at 9:30. Stay at MK until 1-2. Back to POR for a nap and costume. MNSSHP on Halloween night! (Tickets already purchased)

Thursday, Nov. 1. Sleep in. Go to a park (not sure which one yet) when we get up, and have a QS lunch. Hotel and nap in the afternoon. Chef Mickey's for dinner at 5 pm. Back to a park for fireworks. (since this is not a MNSSHP night, will MK have the regular Wishes show?)

Friday, Nov. 2. CRT for breakfast at 8:05 (before rope drop!) :). Spend the day at MK. May take a break in the afternoon. Different park in the evening, due to MNSSHP night. Planning to pay OOP so don't waste table credits.

Saturday, Nov. 3. Any park in the morning. Afternoon break, then back to MK for dinner at Crystal Palace (kiddo is Pooh / Eeyore crazy, so we decided to do this twice).

Sunday, Nov. 4. Animal Kingdom for EMH. Safari then breakfast at Tusker House at 10:05 am. Leave the park in early afternoon to visit friends in Orlando. May return to different park for fireworks later.

Monday, Nov. 5. SeaWorld day!

Tuesday, Nov. 6. Epcot day. Check out of hotel. Go to Epcot. Akershus breakfast at 10:35. Wander Epcot with the munchkin. Dinner at Garden Grill at 4:35. Leave after dinner (driving).

Questions:

1) We have 8 reservations tied to our hotel stay, and 7 TS credits. Will there be any problem with paying for CRT out of pocket, since you typically have to prepay for it?

2). Will The regular MK fireworks show occur on non-MNSSHP nights? If not, we'll need to plan for another show.

3) Is Epcot food and wine worth trying to get Nana to babysit for while hubby and I skip over to Epcot?

4) is the live music at POR good? Hubby loves Dixieland jazz, etc., so we may ask Nana to babysit for this instead of food and wine.

5). Anything I should do differently or try to change for?

Thanks!!

1. It's no problem to pay OOP for any of the meals. You just don't give them your card and tell them it's cash.

2. Yes, regular Wishes fireworks at MK when the MNSSHP is not going on. Check the MK calendar and it has all of that info.

3. I would definately say YES. I've read many places that it's some of the best dining in ALL of Disney. Besides, it is a wonderful place to visit when you're not trying to rush through because your child is bored.

4. Not sure since we have never stayed there. We ARE going there in November and am looking forward to it.

5. Since this is your first trip, I would definately check out some of the websites like Touringplans to get an idea of the expected crowd levels at each park for every day of your trip. We did that before and planned which park to visit every day of our trip and it was a HUGE lifesaver. You can be flexible with it too since you had naptimes to deal with.

I also forgot to mention that on Oct 30, there is only one Fantasmic show at 7:30, so make sure that you will be finished with dinner and in line by 6:30.
