Hi,

I will going in the next month, and have never been.
I will be staying in the seq. lodge- is that a nice hotel? How far is it from the parks?
what are the must-do's as far as the parks?
Are there nighttime parades or fireworks?
what resturants are good at the parks?
I plan on doing the excursion to the sights in paris. Do they stop so you can take pix and look around?

Any tips you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

The Sequia Lodge is a very nice hotel and apparently is often voted the best for the Christmas season. It is approximatly 10 minutes from the parks around Lake Disney and through Disney Village.

Must do's vary from family to family but I'd suggest the Castle, POTC, PM, IASW, Alice's Maze, The Dragon under the Castle, BTM and SM:2 as first time must do's

Fantilusion is on in the evenings in December however there are no fireworks

My favorates are Cafe Mickey and Annettes in the Village and Waltz and Blue Lagoon in the Disneyland Park.

I don't know anything about the Paris trips I'm afraid

Sorry, it's Phantom Mannor.

I quite like the Indy ride, far better now that it is forwards rather than backwards in my opinion.

There are only a few rides in the Studios, they are:

Tower of Terror
Rocking Rollercoaster
Cars
Crush's Coaster
Flying Carpets
Studio Tram Tour

The rest are attractions or shows.

Not sure what lacinmagic is? Cinemagique is a show- you must see it, its really good and only at Disney Studios in Paris!

I would suggest you book an early breakfast time at your hotel - 8am earlier (then you get to go extra magic hours too), as I have heard it gets very busy otherwise and you will have to queue to get a table .

You can book tours through your hotel concierge, never done it myself I much prefer to to get on the train and go and have a wander for myself .

Fantillusion is a parade in the evening when it's dark and it a parade where the floats and characters are covered in lights. I'm sorry but I haven't got any pics but if you look at the trip reports from November and December then you should see some.

Hi wendy.

There are fantillusion photos in my trip report (in signature) from my first and second days.

Sequoia Lodge is a lovely hotel.

Phantom Manor is the disney paris name for the haunted mansion - just purely because it sounds similar in french and english I think,

The indy ride is nothing like the american ones - just a basic coaster

But loads of the other attractions are a lot better (especially space mountain, thunder mountain and Small world!!)
