1day 2 Parks : Harry Potter first or last??

Hi...Sorry I know this question is asked in one form or another frequently but I'm slightly overwhelmed at the moment trying to juggle my over packed holiday vacation

I am planning on going to IOA/US on the Monday after Thanksgiving, hoping to avoid some of the holiday crowds. I would like to see/do as much as possible at both parks - and will most likely have an Express Pass.


That being said....both parks open at the same time , 9am. IOA closes @ 7 and US @6.
What is my best plan of attack?? Should we start at IOA and high tail it to P.Flyers & WWoHP first OR head there at the end of the day??

And IF I should start at WWoHP - should I continue in IOA or head to US and end at IOA?

I have heard some say that WWoHP is sometimes less crowded in the evening...should I do everything else and end there? Do they keep the shops open a bit after closing time?

I do the same thing when I go (both parks in one day as I know what in each park I like to do). HP is the first thing I head to when the park opens. However, I did return at the end of the day last year and the line was shorter than in the middle of the day so I honestly think you will be fine either way (assuming last means 6 PM or after).

I think I would head to the Studios first and do everything you want to do then head over to IoA for the duration. WWoHP seems to be less busy in the evenings but just keep in mind that Forbidden Journey and the P Flyers do not accept Express.

In our experiences, mid-afternoon between 2 and 4 are the best times to go. We usually go to Universal first (we also get express passes) and then go to IOA. Depending on how quickly we do Universal, we either start in Seuss Landing and go to WWOHP 2nd, or begin on the other side and hit WWOHP next-to-last.
