I received as a gift this morning at Church a "Complimentary Main gate Admission" ticket. The ticket looks exactly like: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dfpgKJLrp...tCNJeuB4/s1600/Comp.+Main+Gate+Sept.+1981.JPG The only difference is the numbers on mine say TX111981 (I'm guessing 1981)? There is no expiration date.
The back side says in teeny italics: These coupons are not subject to refund and may be used only for admission as indicated. Listed attractions are subject to price change and availability without notice.
Underneath the above in a little bigger, and regular all CAPS font, it says: All coupons in this book are good at any time during Disneyland's regular operating hours. Not for sale.
My dear friend Mary who gave it to me, knows how big a DL fan I am and said she found it while doing some house cleaning and organizing. I have an AP right now valid through early December. I am for sure planning a couple day trip end of November. I'm local so if it cools off may go before then and ask at the ticket counter if this has any value. I thought I'd ask on here as I think I remember reading a few threads where old tickets with no expiration did end up having some value at the gate.
Thank you! I will make a copy of this ticket before hand for my scrapbook, it's cool
