$196 RT from DC in November????????

I have been waiting patiently for months for SW to open their fares from Baltimore to orlando for November. Well they finally did, and their fare is higer than Delta out of Wahsington Dulles (we can use BWI, Dulles or National). I have a hold on Delta for 3 tickets at $196 RT and one at $241 RT (we need 4 but they only had three at the lowest price). I don't know whether to buy these now or hold out for a Delta or SW sale. I hate this game of wait/gamble!!!!!

I don't know whether to wait or not either..........
My dates are Nov4-12 ROC to TPA. There are 5 of us
and I don't know how long to play the 'game' for....I probably should have bought a month ago when they were 151. Do you think there will be more drops ? I don't want to do SW (out of BUF) because I really want assigned seating....
Any thoughts ? anyone ?

Always Leah: We have always had good luck on SW (even with the free for all seating) Unfortunately, the SW price is not so hot right now from Baltimare to Orlando, and they do not convenient flight times for non-stop sevrice. Basically if the price and schedule meet your liking, I would choose SW if I were you. We have actually had much friendlier and reliable (on time) service from SW over Delta and USairways. My 2 cents anyway.

I fly out of Wash. every fall. this year we're heading out the end of oct to early Nov. I won't even think of buying my tickets until at least September. A few weeks ago Delta had an internet sale and the tickets were $165 out of Dulles for my time frame. I personally think the price you have is a little high. But only you can make that decision...it's always a gamble. BTW, I paid the following for tickets recently: May $152, July $157, and August $165 (all on United). I also watch seats to see if the flight is selling out. good luck!
