Is it worth it? Tell me your experiences there with Alice and Mary Poppins....

We were very disappointed in 1900 PF. Food depleted and not refilled. loud and chaotic, with only so so character interaction. it took FOREVER to get Mary and Alice. We saw Pooh three times while we waited. Server was basically a ghost, no drink refills and no help on the timing......we won't be back.

Thanks for the feedback. I've had this ADR and moved it a couple times. I love the characters and location, but it's the one ADR that just doesn't seem to fit for us plus we have a late morning res so I was concerned about food depletion.

Food wasn't bad. But it wasn't one of my faves. I also didn't care for the characters. Don't get me wrong, it was a good experience and the food was decent, just not outstanding. I really liked cape may, tusker house, and crystal palace much better. My fave being crystal palace.

We ate there a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. We had one of the latest breakfast times and didn't have any problems with the food being depleted. I thought the food was good... Not outstanding though. Typical breakfast buffet. For us the character interaction was great! They seemed to move around quickly and efficiently. I liked how they all seemed to come out at once vs spread out like they were for Tusker House. We actually saw them come around twice. The Mad Hatter and Tigger were especially fun and interactive.

Thanks for your comment I feel more at ease with out breakfast reservation. We have 4 little ones in the group 2 of which have never been to Disney so being that we have the DDP I tried to make all TS meals character meals. That's way we do t have to wait in line at the parks to see them. Don't know if my philosophy is a good one but we'll see.

We do the same thing with character meals and schedule around park time. I'd rather be on rides than waiting for an autograph. Plus it's fantastic distraction for a toddler during meals. Doing this meal negates waiting in line for Mary Poppins Alice and a CP meal so I feel like it kills three birds with one stone! I've just read so many mixed things about it.

We've been there a couple of times. Thought it was pretty good. I love the made to order omelets. I also thought the character interaction was great. Especially Alice and the Mad Hatter. The Mad Hatter is a real hoot.

We really enjoyed it!! Our reservation was 9:30 am. All of the characters were great especially the Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins! The juice they served was really delicious! They had a small buffet area for the kids and the omlette bar was great! We would do it again!

We love going there for breakfast, mainly for Mary Poppins. The breakfast is good. It is loud and it's getting to be like Crystal Palace where you might miss a character if you don't wait it out, etc.

We were there almost 2 years ago now, but definitely enjoyed our visit! Good selection of food (I still remember an amazing lobster eggs benedict!) and the characters were really great -the Mad Hatter was hilarious, and one of the character "helpers" helped us get autographs from Pooh & Tigger from a distance with our kid's fears. :) I think I have pics in the link on my signature if that helps. I totally understand, though, it can be so hard to choose!

We went for a late morning reservation and had a great experience. Less busy and plenty of fresh food. Our server was quite attentive and the characters were good.

What time can i show up at the polynesian to eat breakfast? I am coming from out of state. want to park there, eat breakfast and enjoy the day. Thanks in advance.
