My family has never been to 1900 (dinner) and I don't really hear alot about this place? Is there a reason?? I was wondering what kind of food they have on the dinner buffet? We have ate at crystal palace before and thought it was good but not sure I would like to go back. Any suggestions or feedback about 1900 Parkfare dinner??? Thank you in advance :)

I honestly preferred the food at Crystal Palace. I was VERY disappointed in 1900 PF food. Terrible selection. Even the dessert & kids section was awful. I wouldnt go back. I will say that the characters were pretty hilarious and made the experience worth it. But the food, not so much. Im glad i went, but I wouldnt go back. The quality & variety of food at C.Palace is much better IMHO.

Personally we've been to Disney a ton and think that 1900 Park Fare has some of the best food for a Character dining. We're in the same boat on Crystal Palace...........not super thrilled about it or the food.

1900 PF & CP both had regular buffet fare, IMO. We did enjoy the characters more at 1900 PF.

Personally i love the crystal palace breakfast. Good selection of food and getting into the park before it open is also a major plus.

Personally, for dinner, I think both of them are pretty much equal. However, the character experience at 1900 is by far better!

Could you give some examples of stuff on the buffet? I have 1 son that is really picky and will need to find something, we can't not try places because of him.

we did both this past Jan. We all prefer 1900 park fare hands down. I think the food is much better there. The step sisters were not there this time, and was a big disappointment. They were hilarious last time. But the food just wasnt as good at CP.

If you look at allears.com you can look at the menus there to get a better idea of what they have.

Yes, check the menu on allears. I can't recall specifics, but when we went there were a variety of salads, various carved meat, several pastas, a couple of soups, your standard kid fare (mac-n-cheese, chicken, etc), fresh fruit, assorted dessert options. We LOVED 1900 PF. I was nervous about keeping the reservations because it had mixed reviews. Though we're not extremely picky, I still want a good (prefer great) meal and don't want to feel I wasted my money. I am so glad we kept this reservation. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. It was very fresh tasting, lots of variety, had several dishes that weren't just your standard nuggets & such, lots of fresh fruit, and everything we tried was delicious. The character experience just enhanced the meal completely. By far, the best character interaction for dining. The combination of the food and the characters made it one of our favorite meals during our stay.
We haven't had such a great experience at CP for dinner. While the food was okay, it wasn't anything to write home about--nothing memorable for sure.

We have only been to both for breakfast.

However, if I had to choose for dinner, I would pick 1900 Park Fare. The characters there are some you have to search to see elsewhere. Looking at the allears.net menu, they have a better selection also.

But if it were breakfast, I could never give up the Pooh Ears.

1900 park fare is pretty gross in my opinion. I was so disappointed with the food and the variety. I wouldnt go back. The characters were funny thou. They made the trip there worth while.

I love Crystal Palace for any meal.
