How is the character dinner at this restaurant? I am interested in how the food is for DH and I but my DD wants to know what characters there are and how the interaction is.

TIA

Lynn

I thought the character interaction was excellent when we were there and as far as the food goes, DH would like to borrow a little girl for each trip so that he can eat there. It actually started a conversation, which now has ended up in treating my niece to a Disney vacation. Not of course just to eat there.........but it started us thinking about how nice that would be and what special memories it would make for all of us!!! I'm just absolutely SO excited to be able to take a "girl"!!! I had two boys, now grown, and am so looking forward to doing all the girl things, she's 8, and I'm getting quite carried away!!! :goodvibes SO in conclusion to your simple question!!! Excellent buffet and we'll be going to it in November.

Hello :flower:

We have been to Cinderella's Gala Feast twice in the last two years. It is a must do for us as my dd's LOVE Cinderella. This year we even had a birthday cake for our oldest dd who turned 4 the day we had dinner there. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzie and Perla are there and the Fairy Godmother is in the lobby where you wait to be seated. All of the characters came around to our tables twice and the first time they visit for a good amount of time I think. The food is good and there is a kids buffet as well if your dd prefers that over the adult things. I know our oldest didn't eat much as she was too busy watching Cinderella move around the room ;) .

We are planning on going again next March Break. This is one meal we can't miss!

The character interaction is great - way better than CRT and PSB. We've done this meal twice and both times it was very good. The characters came around multiple times and spent a lot of time at each table. The food is good and there is a nice variety.

That's so wonderful!Bet you can't wait to have grandchildren!

We have only had great experiences here for breakfast and dinner. The characters spend a lot of time with you, and the food is a notch above the other character buffets. princess: pirate: :earboy2:

Thanks everybody! Tomorrow I am definitely making a PS here for us. It will be for my birthday dinner. Now I'm excited! :flower:

Hi. This restaurant is on my list to try! What characters are there in the morning? Should we try to have dinner there one night AND do the breakfast? I just love breakfast foods. We enjoyed CRT (x2) and the storybook breakfast, but I thought the Food at the one in AK was better.

I wasn't ready a few years ago, but I'm 51 now and I guess I'm OK with it. I have a son 26 and a son 20. Neither married yet, but I think the 20 y/o has found "his person". We'll see.

As far as my November vacation goes??? Well, so far, I have a morning at the spa, for "My First Manicure and My First Pedicure". I think I'll get the "old ladies" facial!!! Maybe will tighten some wrinkles. Then we're doing "My Disney Girl Princess Tea", the "Princess Breakfast or lunch in Norway", 1900 Park Fair for both the Mary Poppins/Alice in Wonderland breakfast and the "Cinderella dinner". (her whole family came with us this July and we did the castle for breakfast, dedicated, but I'm not getting up again at 6 for the reservation call), LOL Plus I guess, Cape May, (staying at Beach Club Villas and will be convenient for a lazy morning), and Whispering Canyon for some fun. Well, as you can tell, like I said, I'm SO excited!!!

To be fair, there IS a nephew, but being 12 we thought it better to not take him out of school for 1 1/2 weeks, and we're taking him this August on a "man's vacation" in the Rockies, with my 20 year old son. I think the 20 year old cousin is a BIG bonus there!!! Nothing like "hanging out" with someone you "admire" like that, playing Poker, (which he loves) Whitewater Rafting, etc. Mine wants to climb Long's Peak, and said he won't mind having his "little" cousin hanging around for the rest of the week. My nephew was already to DisneyWorld in July so I think he'll be OK with his sister spending a "girl's week" there.

And yes, I guess I'm ready to spoil some grandchildren, but only when the kids are ready to have the children!!!

I cant wait to go next month. I got my DDs 2 and 5 Cinderella dresses. I want to buy them the My Disney Girl Dolls and Cinderella dresses for the dolls before the dinner. I thought that would make for great picture s. I just wish that Gus was going to be there. he's my favorite. Oh well, my girls will be thrilled. My poor DH. He has to spend the week doing princess things. princess: princess:
