I have a 3 year old who LOVES characters, therefore we try to do a few character meals while at Disney each time. This time we have Donald's Safari Breakfast, Akershus (he likes Princesses too), Ohana breakfast, and Crystal Palace.

Just wondering how this character meal is for dinner? What characters are there, food, etc? Would a little fellow like this?

Thanks!!!

the dinner has Cindy, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine (stepmother) and both step sisters. I *think* the Fairy God Mother is in the lobby (but I'm a bit unsure?)

I thought this was an awesome experience. Food was decent (one of the better buffets for us), the decor was pretty, and the interaction was great. The stepsisters especially were a hoot--very much in-character.

I think a boy would have no problem here--the stepsiters would probably make quite a fuss over him.

We ate at 1900 Park Fair on Sept. 16. We had our picture taken in front of a mural. The picture was not included and we didn't buy it. Prince Charming, Cinderella, the step-mother and step-sisters visited out table to pictures and autographs. Prince Charming and Cinderella dance, but we missed it because we were in a side room instead of the main dining area. The step-sisters are funny and put on a good show.

As far as the food, it was good. Wasn't our favorite buffet, but the food was hot and fresh.

We did not see the fairy godmother. The picture is kind of silly as it's one in front of a mural without any live characters - not sure why people would buy it.

We thought the food quality was very good for a buffet - of the same quality as Boma and Tusker, far superior to Chef Mickey's

The characters are great - the bickering with the sisters is fun and Lady Tremaine is funny being in character. Prince and Cindy were fine/as expected.

It's nice to have a chance to visit the GF - as for the ambiance of the room - it's nothing special - basically the typical wedding reception type "ballroom" at a chain hotel like a Holiday Inn.

We're going next summer, but I plan to go to this with my will-be 9 & 8 YO boys and 6 YO daughter. I think the boys may actually enjoy it more than my daughter b/c of everything I have read about the stepsisters. Figure it'll be less girly than the Akershus & CRT with more humorous interaction. We've watched a couple of Youtube videos of the stepsisters out & about in WDW and they are hilarious!

The characters are incredible but the food is disgusting.

Do you think an 8 and 9 yo boy would feel out of place? I really want to try this for dinner on our next trip.

This is not first-hand experience, but I'll share our friends' story. They have three children - two younger girls and a 9-year-old boy. They were really happy with 1900 Park Fare because the princesses were great for the girls, and their son enjoyed Prince Charming and the stepsisters.

We have three boys (a pre-schooler and two pre-teens) and won't try it on our next trip, but only because we have lots of other priorities on our list. But maybe someday - our friends really enjoyed it!

We did 1900 Park Fair a few weeks ago. The character interaction was great. The step mom and step sisters were great at being in character! If you do this one, make sure you try the strawberry soup! It is FABULOUS!

Ok thanks. We've done pretty much all the other character meals except this one so I figured why not! If nothing else, they'll get some new signatures in their autograph books.
