I was wondering if the dinner is worth it? Do you get to see the princess for a decent amount of time?

You get to see prince charming, cinderella, the stepsisters and stepmother while you arre there. The stepsisters stayed at our table the longest each time we have gone, Prince Charming hung out longer last time, I think he liked my DM66, she is a trip and they teased back and forth a long time, his handler had to press him to move on a few times.
They do a floor show like thing and Cinderella and the Prince dance.
It is one of my favorite character meals because it is different then others because of having some villians.

The dinner is not worth it in my opinion. But it will be worth it to your little girls.

We just ate here last week. Prince Charming was nice and visited for a few minutes. Cinderella was the usual snooze (although sweet), said a few nice things signed autograph and posed for pic. The stepsisters and stepmother also visited a little longer than you sometimes get at character meals. I don't think the atmosphere is really that nice and it has a really family feedbag atmosphere to me. For a princess experience for 1 TS I think Akershuus is much better and nicer.

The other thing that I would warn you about is that the food is pretty terrible. I have eaten here 3 times, so it was definetly not an "off night." If you are on the dining plan and really want to see the stepsisters, go for it. But for the mess they serve and charge around $33 dollars a person, that is even nervy for Disney.

If you have a little girl that really loves Cinderella then yes it's worth it. The food no, not worth it.

As far as character meals go it's fun though, I love the step sisters, they are a hoot and will make you laugh. -also the prince is a plus, I'm not sure where else you can see him? -my 5 year old DD loves him! she really isn't that in to the princesses (more a Mickey and Stitch kinda girl) anyway, she was so taken by "prince charming" the look on her face in the pic of them together is priceless.:lovestruc

This is a must do for every trip to WDW. The food is decent for a buffet. I have never eaten anything there that was bad. The prime rib has actually been really good several times I was there.

The characters are great. The step sisters are hysterical and very interactive with your party. Prince Charming and Cinderella have always been gracious and kind and I have never felt rushed trying to get pictures with them.

I love 1900 Park Fare. :love:The step sisters are a hoot and the food, IMO, is pretty good for a buffet.

When we went in 2009 DS4 at the time was dressed as Captn Hook. Well the step sisters went crazy over him. It was so funny! He kept saying he wasn't going to marry them.

This year DS & DH missed Prince Charming and we asked the server to have him to stop at our table again and he was so great.

We just love this dining experience.:goodvibes

Thanks.

I have twins girls 4 1/2, one is a huge Cinderella fan. They are very picky eaters as am I so I was thinking this one would be better than Royal Table as far as having a variety of things to eat.

Hi
The characters are a lot of fun, but the food was terrible. The food used to be really great. My DGD had a great time with the stepsisters though, so I think its worth going at least once.

Our experience was great! It was my youngest daughter's 5th birthday and Prince Charming got down on one knee and asked her to dance and then ended it with a kiss on her hand. Needless to say she was in heaven!! The Stepmother and Stepsisters were hilarious. We had such a great time, but honestly none of us can even remember any of the food we ate. So it must have not been too good or too bad.

We love 1900 and have always had a great experience and decent food.

We were there 9 months ago for the 1st time. My DS loves the step-sisters and Lady Tremaine. He loves the villains. IMO, the food was pretty decent, the interaction with the characters was very good with the exception of Prince Charming. I think e was a bit off in la-la-land that day. The desserts were very good. My dad wasn't feeling well before we sat down to eat and left early. He ate his meal and headed back to our room at the Poly. He ended up having a 24 hour bug that caused him to spend the next day in bed. Our server got us a box so that we could load up some desserts for my dad which I thought was so sweet of her.

One of my favorite photos of our trip was this one.

Ate breakfast there and food was AWFUL. Also the CM and the waitresses were rude. Yes I said both. Haven't been back and won't!!:mad::mad:

We liked it with our 3 year old. In fact it was on DH's must revisit for our trip next month.

Cinderella was nice with DD - usual picture and sign book. My daughter loved the fact the prince and cinderella danced - they did this twice during the meal. They also chose some children to dance with.

The step sisters were loud but funny - tables with older kids were really enjoying interacting.

We liked the food. Only dinner buffet we did in 18 nights - so a novelty. DD liked getting her own food (with my help) off the kid height buffet. Prime rib was good with the mashed potatoes. They were happy to get rarer meat if you asked - the man in front of me did.

Lots of small fancy desserts.

We had a great server and weren't rushed.

It is lovely to visit the grand floridian. Overall we had a very nice evening. and everyone got to eat something they liked and as much as they wanted.
