Ive gone through multiple pages and couldnt find a thread on this restuarant. We are dining for breakfast and wanted to know if it was worth it. If you have any pictures of the place, food, etc, that would be even better.

Hi we did the breakfast in Sept and it was good, the character interaction was really good! We had Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, Pooh and Tigger. Each one made their way around the tables for pics and interaction. The food was pretty good, they had an omelete station and a good selection of breakfast fare. To be in the Grand Floridian and look around is quite an experience and we plan to go back there this fall for supper at 1900 Park Fare.

We were there in September also. Same characters.

Try the Strawberry Soup. It's the only place you will find it.

Ive never done disney dining before. I was trying to pick one without breaking the bank. This one seemed the cheapest and it was open.

I've only done dinners there, but have hear great things about thebreakfasts too. I have heard the prices have gone up though recently and if you are going during a busy time they add an additional cost for the busy season.

We just returned from WDW. Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare was WONDERFUL! The Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort. The whole family enjoyed walking around both inside and out. There was quite a bit to choose from on the buffet line. The omlet and the lobster benedict were really good. The fruit was so plentiful and fresh. We enjoyed our time with the characters too. This is definitely a character meal that we will do again.

How would you rate dinner there....half of my group wants to go there, while the other half aren't that up for it.

I am interested in hearing about dinner there too, we are considering it this year.

We went to dinner there in December and loved it. The character interaction was excellent -- the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine were so great with our DD!

Food was pretty good. For a buffet I think I like Crystal Palace's food better, but there was definitely plenty of good food here as well.

We liked 1900 food better (dinner) than CP this year. But I liked both places. I think I just like the choices better at 1900. They have this tomato/mozerella salad that i just love! Both had prime rib. I think the deserts are better at 1900.

I have done both breakfast and dinner here a few times... each time it has been wonderful!

I have pics of my kids with the characters but no food. :rotfl2:

Breakfast is usually M.P., Alice, Mad hatter, pooh, tigger
Dinner: cindy prince charming, step mother, druzzilla and anastasia (step sisters)

I think its the best buffet in WDW.

We have ate breakfast here and its wonderful. We are trying dinner in a few weeks :)

Great, we chose this as our Princess dinner this year. We tried Aukerhaus last year and loved the princess interaction but the food wasn't my tastes! Now I'm really lookng forward to this....if only I can get the ADR!!!!

We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare in January, and it was great. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival, and the staff was attentive and very, very friendly.

Buffet had excellent offerings and we enjoyed the food immensely (it rated in second place overall for best dinner buffet for our family, right after the Crystal Palace dinner).

Character interaction was excellent. The stepsisters, in particular, do a great job with their characters, as does Lady Tremaine.

The restaurant was LOUD, with lots of activity (and screetching by those nutty stepsisters), so if you're looking for a quiet meal....this just ain't it. :rotfl:

It was great to have a reason to visit the GF and actually see the property in person. Otherwise, we would have never made a special trip to do so.

We had dinner here in June 2008. I remember thinking that there were so many dinner choices, almost anything for everyone's taste. There was a carving station with 2 meat choices, chicken marsala (and other meats) a very extensive salad bar, areas of Italian food & Chinese food (I think it was Chinese or at least considered Asian-inspired!!). There seemed to be so many choices that you would hardly be able to try them all. The kids' section had a wide variety of food and of course, the desert buffet was heavenly.

This is a restaurant we will definitely do again - can't go wrong with this choice!

I only have dinner ones, but I'll look for them. Only a few edited so far. I did take some of the buffet, but I haven't gotten to those yet either in editing.
