Please tell me everything about it. Which meal is best, which characters are there, etc.?

We've been for breakfast (v. nice) and dinner, which we really liked.

It's been a couple of years, but my DD STILL talks about that chilled strawberry soup! The food was much better than the standard character buffet food. We want to go back since now the dinner characters have changed to Cinderella , P. Charming, and her Step-Mother and 2 Ugly Step-Sisters. I've seen photos somewhere here on the DISboards and they looked really funny! Plus, the strawberry soup!

Thanks! Do you know whether the step sisters are REALLY scary??? I´m just wondering whether my 3 year old DD will be scared and not enjoy herself?

We will be having dinner here in July. From what I've read the step sisters aren't scary, but rather silly. We can't wait! The food reviews have been mixed-- same as every other resturant at Disney.

Have a fun trip!

Strawberry soup ROCKS :hippie:

Hands down, our favorite character buffet, for both b'fast and dinner. Food is terrific, and they have a very good children's buffet (which my wife loves, too!)

It can be noisy, and a little frenzied -- but not nearly as frenetic as Chef Mickey's.

We haven't been to 1900 Park Fare since 2006, but the food at dinner was very good and the characters had my dd's in awe. Highly recommended.

:goodvibes :goodvibes

Thanks everyone! I think we´ll give it a try.

The step sisters are more funny than scary. The are loud, clumsy and hilarious. The step mother is a little scarier, but all are good at reading each child and reacting appropriately.

My DD actually liked the step-sisters better than Cinderella here. Anastasia kept trying to make Drusilla disappear with a little girl's wand. Very funny! Lady Tremaine was nice too, just kind of hoity-toity. The strawberry soup was the best part of the buffet IMHO. We don't know if we'll do it again, but it was worth doing dinner here once. :goodvibes

The step sisters are hysterical!! My DD's (15 and 17) stood in a LONG line in the MK last trip because they HAD to see them. They were a riot, not scary at all.

This is all great to hear! I was wondering about dinner at 1900. I have had breakfst there, which was terrific. But I think we'll really enjoy dinner too.

Anyone have pics of dinner and the chars?

anyone have any pics of this resturant to share, I would really like to see the stepsisters

Last time we went they still had the mice.

The stepsisters are a riot the stepmother is very snooty acting but the sisters are fun to watch your daughter will love the restaurant. All of the food was good but the desserts were to die for the bread pudding and vanilla sauce yum. You will have a wonderful time.

The dinner buffet here was one of the best with a good variety & quality of food. Nice salad bar, 4-5 different hot meats, & a yummy dessert bar. The selections on the kids buffet were also good & equally enjoyed by adults. As for the characters , the interaction was the best. they came to each table & talked & posed for pictures & autographs. My granddaughter, age 5 last year really enjoyed seeing prince charming & cinderella. The stepsisters did a whole routine tha just made you laugh, a real fun time. :yay: :cool1:

We haven't been to 1900 in a couple of years, but we already have our
ADR for our trip in August. My DH dreams about that bread pudding, and I'm hoping they still have the same pizza on the kiddie buffet! Really! After a week of rich foods, I'm looking forward to that pizza--the best at WDW! It's a great place to go to when you plan to visit the MK. It's just a monorail ride away and a very pleasant rest from the activity at MK.

we did both breakfast and dinner. Both were very good and had different characters at each. It would be hard to decide which we liked better :rotfl:

We just got back from WDW and did 1900 Park Fare for dinner. The stepsisters are hilarious and everyone loves Cinderella and Prince Charming. My DH and I thought the evil stepmother was the best. I can't lie, she is a little scary looking, but I think she did a good job reading the kids and acting appropriately depending upon levels of fear. The food was pretty good for a buffet.. My biggest issue was the lack of chicken nuggets. For my son, that was a tragedy.. I think most adults would be happy with the variety.. The stepsisters danced and goofed around with the kids.. One pulled my 6 year old DS up and he was cracking up.

The step sisters rocked, we loved them!!! I'll share some pics and a video of dd dancing with Cinderella there.

Cindy loved her "dress made by mice"

video (that's Drizella you hear saying "she's a peach!" in the video - she was sorta responsible for her getting to do this dance)

We had dinner there in May 2007. Loved it. Great buffet, it was much nicer than most buffets. DH loved the prime rib. DD (3) did BBB that morning so she got alot of attention. The characters were Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzie and Perla. The Fairy Godmother was sitting on the bench outside for pictures. This is a not to miss place for us.
