I have an ADR here for dinner one night (solo trip). It's been a few years since I have dined there. How is the food? What about the service? Is this a good place for a solo diner or would you recommend somewhere else? I should say that I'm a picky eater.

Well, it has Cindy, Prince Charming, and the two mice. Fairy Godmother out front. The buffet was really good. Unusual kind of food like these stuffed Ravaloi with mushrooms. Strawberry soup. Stuff you wouldn't usually see at a buffet. They also have the regular, carved meat, veggies too.

I think Kona CAfe is wonderful. Great location, and great food too.

We are taking our granddaughter there for her birthday. She will be 4. I can't wait. It's this Oct.

We ate there in May. The food was good, service and character interaction was wonderful, and of course the Grand Floridian is gorgeous!!!! Have a great time! :thumbsup2

As this is an adult, solo trip, just was not sure if it was worth doing or if I should try somewhere else, like WCC.

I may be in the minority, here, but~ As a picky eater myself, I think buffets are perfect. So many choices for aps, entrees, and desserts. Can't go wrong with a well prepared buffet, IMO :thumbsup2

I've eaten dinner here twice as a solo and loved it. The character interaction was great and there always seemed to be someone right there to take a picture when I wanted to. The food was also very good and quite a variety. I can also be a picky eater and found lots of stuff I liked.

Enjoy! :)
