I never hear anything about 1900 Park Fare. I'm trying to make ADR's that would be most fun for my girls 8 & 3. What do you guys think?

Good buffet and great character interaction. 11 of us are going Oct 1 ...

They have a breakfast and a dinner. It is at the Grand Floridian resort. Breakfast is 18.99/10.99 and dinner is 28.99/13.99. My sigy pic is at 1900park fare dinner. It is in our opinion the best buffet on property. I was amazed that my Dh wanted to go back so badly, he isnt into characters at all! Check out the menus here http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#res

We visited the dinner version about three weeks ago with our 5 yr old daughter and enjoyed it immensely. The character interaction was quite good, especially Prince Charming who danced with any young girl who wished to do so, and the service was exemplary. Best of all, the food was delicious. From cold salads, to soups, to entrees, to dessert, we all found several things we liked. My favorites were the chilled strawberry soup, the curried chicken with couscous, the portobello ravioli, and the freshly prepared while you watched shrimp & asparagus alfredo. For dessert, their key lime tarts, cheesecake tarts, and bread pudding were topnotch. My wife liked the bananas foster served atop her bread pudding! The kids have their own buffet stocked with traditional favorites like pizza, mac n cheese, chicken strips, and even PB & J sandwiches. I believe there is also a soft serve machine in the dessert section. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed 1900 PF, and we'll make it a point to return next year. :thumbsup2

Was there in May for the very first time. My DD wanted to do a character breakfast with Cinderella. I waited to call for our ADRs and was informed the dining reservations could now be made 180 days in advance. I was very upset that I missed that change. I could not get a reservation for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for the 9 days that we were there. So I made dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare. The food was great - better than the other character meals that we had done in the past. Plan to eat there again on our next trip.

We went for dinner on the 21st. It was very good. There were a lot of different items on the buffet. The character interaction was wonderful and it's the only place to meet Prince Charming! :teeth:

We LOVE the character breakfast here. It is our favorite. A few years back I made resevations for 29 of us. When we got there, they had nothing on their books! They were able to accomodate us with out even blinking an eye .... 29 of us!! Food is great, characters are great. Enjoy.

I wouldn't say it is fun.
However, the food was quite pleasing to adults and kids.
For a buffet, it was very relaxing, with good character interaction (depending on what characters you like).
We ate there twice in the week we went to Disney, and we did not stay at the GF. If we go back to Disney, we will definitely go there for dinner.

We love it. I'm trying to work it into our upcoming plans...but we also want to try new things!! Every time I see a thread with the name mentioned though, I want to call and change right away!!

We loved it! We ate there for dinner. The food was great and very little wait time (had ADR, but you know how that can go sometimes!)

Twi if my favorite dishes are there: Strawberry Soup (so ymmy) and Bread Pudding - real bread pudding, not that nasty Banana bread pudding they have everywhere else.

As far as characters, we saw Cindy(of course), Suzy and Perla and Snow White. Alice was in the lobby. We, or rather I, was a little disapointed that Prince Charming wasnt there, but hopefully we shall see him in Sept.

Also - the servers were fantasic!

We did it last christmas for dinner. We had Prince Charming. We had our reservations rather late and it was wonderful. He came over to the table and ask my DD if she thought that Cinderella would like to dance with him. She told him definately. So he gets her and some of the other little girls to go with him and asked her to dance. We have beautiful pictures and video of him and Cinderella dancing in the middle of the restaurant with moms and daughters just swooning. It was a beautiful moment!

Oh yeah, the food was good to!

We had breakfast there last week (with Alice) and the buffet was wonderful. I'd say the food at their breakfast buffet is better than the food at either CPT or PSB.

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare is one of our "must do's" each trip. We ate there last month & the character interaction was great. Suzy & Perla Mouse each came by a couple of times. DH & I thought we'd never get back to the buffet because we were so busy taking pictures!!

Make sure to make ADR. We couldn't get in at all in April. We are planning to make ADRs very soon for our next trip. Good luck!
