1900 Park Fare vs Crystal Palace

The day we go to Magic Kingdom we are thinking about 1900 Park Fare or Crystal Palace for dinner. We have eaten at Crystal Palace before and thought it was good (about as good as food gets at the Magic Kingdom). We would be happy eating there again but wonder if we should try 1900 Park Fare instead. I know the characters are said to be wonderful at Park Fare but I want to know how you would compare the food to Crystal Palace....equal or better?

The food is MUCH better at Crystal Palace, IMO. If I were you, I would really only go to 1900 PF if seeing the characters were really important to you. Otherwise, I think Crystal Palace is a better choice overall.

Crystal Palace is one of our favorite restaurants at WDW, especially at breakfast. With that said, we also liked 1900 PF. The character interaction was great, and it was nice to see some characters you don't see as much (Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter). Pooh is also there. Food wise, I would give the edge to CP though. I think the character interaction is better at 1900 (Mad Hatter is hilarious) but the food was better at CP.

We have been to both for dinner and CP is better but honestly not by much...the food at 1900 PF was just so bad and CP was so overly salty. To be honest all the dinner buffets are pretty nasty......

We felt the food at CP was decent. We left 1900 PF hungry and for us, it was not worth the character interaction.

Thanks everyone! That helps! DH is all about food and he enjoyed Crystal Palace last time..... its important to keep him happy when he is at WDW! He actually LOVES Cali Grill and Ohana.....but he thought Crystal Place was nice...maybe I'll take him there....Thanks!
