1900 Park Fare Timing Question

I haven't decided when we're going to catch Spectromagic on our vacation. There are 3 possible nights, and all follow the schedule of (TYPO! Should be Spectro, Wishes, Spectro! Sorry! Knew what I meant, lol!)Wishes at 9, Spectro at 10, and Wishes at 11, as far as I know. All of them would follow a dinner reservation. The one night I'm considering is our last full night at Disney. DD is going to be all princess dressed for 1900 Park Fare, and we have ressies at 6:40. Taking into account a relaxed dinner, June crowd levels, and hopping the monorail from GF to MK, do you think we'd have enough time to eat, get to the Magic Kingdom and get a good spot for the parade and fireworks? I think it would be neat for her to get to wear her costume to the parade, but we don't want to be so late we can't SEE the parade.

The other options are our first night there after a 6:30 Chef Mickey's (which seems like about the same, timing wise) or our second night after LTT. That one should be easiest, I would think, since we'll already BE in the MK. But I thought our last night might be more fun.

TIA!

I think you have this backwards. I have never known wishes to be done twice in one night. I think it is Spectro, Wishes, Spectro.

Wishes are at 9pm Sometimes Specto is at both 8 and 10, sometimes just 8.

We just returned from DW and had a ressie with Park Fare. They called us one hour late!! It was over crowded and noisy. We had a bad waitress. I think she was just too busy to do her job well. No refills on drinks and we could never find her! The only character that came to our table was Prince Charming. We did not care for the food. It was just OK. It was the only place we were disappointed with on our trip. The area where you have to fill your plates was very crowded and hard to get around in. The dessert place was really crowded. It's just at the end of the reagular food bar.We did have the dining plan, there were 7 of us. The strawberry soup was delicious.

I would try for the earliest night you can over the vacation so if you love it you can do it again.

Now I am VERY confused.

Yes, I typo-ed. Should have been Spectro, Wishes, Spectro. But the calendar for park hours in June that I saw clearly said 9, 10, 11. Not 8, 9, 10. :confused3

So, now, two questions:

1. Which of these times is correct?

2. If the fireworks are at 10, can I get there in time? If they are at 9, can I get there in time?

We can't get into CRT, and even if we could, don't have 2 TS credits to spend there. We are not at all interested in Akershus. My daughter loves princesses. So we're going to Park Fare. I'm just not sure if we can make it from there to MK in time to get a good spot for the parade/fireworks.

Thanks.

That is a good point! Thank you!

Hopefully the kids won't be too tired staying up late, though! Ah well. I'm probably just obsessing too much! :thumbsup2

We had a different experience at 1900 PF. WE LOVED IT!!! We ate at 6.30pm just the 3 of us me Dh and DD 2/12 yrs. We had great character interation, with Cinderella Prince charming the mice and the fairy Godmothers. We LOVED the chilled strawberry soup!! Try it it really is lovely! we were there about an hour, the monorial got us into Mk within 10 minutes and we were in Main street. I would still do at start of holiday and we always do on our last night too. We found people were very kind to our Dd and let her in front. Or we stodd at the back and she went on her dads shoulders. She loved wearing her dress to MK, got loads of nice comments from Cms etc.

Have fun............... :cool1:

This was in March. The time may be different when you are there.

Guess we must of gotten a bad night!! Regardless, we won't go back. There are too many places we've eaten at time and again and loved each time!! I think they must of crowded too many people in that night!! I have never had to wait an hour for a ressie before!! The crowd was very bad!! It was hard to get around and like I said, no attention from characters except Prince Charming!! We only had one child though, and a 14 year old, who also had her picture taken with him!!
