For those of you that have done breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, how was your experience? I want to make a late breakfast reservation for departure day. (We are staying off property and renting a car, so we will be driving to airport to fly home on a 3pm flight.)

I am worried about this though, because on our last day last trip we had a breakfast reservation at O'Hana and they did not seat us until an hour after our reservation time. It also took a very long time for the characters to come around. Luckily we were driving home, so it didn't matter as much. We have never had that issue with any other meals at WDW.

I just would like to know what every one has experienced with 1900 Park Fare. Do they usually run on time? Or would there be another meal for a departure breakfast you would suggest? It does not have to be a character meal.

Same happened to us a Ohana, DH & DD were driving home after. It was a nightmare, both the wait outside and at our table. We ended up leaving before all the characters came. So sad because we always ended a trip with a character breakfast. I haven't done it since.

1900 is a fun one, we've always been sat promptly! I would keep it.

I was just there Sunday (1/10)! We had an 11:20 ADR, walked up about 11:05 & they actually sat us early. Obviously this was near the end of seating so the room was starting to clear out already when we sat down, but I would say within 20 minutes it was REALLY empty. The characters came around several times making sure they weren't missing anybody. I will note the Mad Hatter was not there which was a slight bummer, but I know it's never a sure thing. We were there about an hour, never felt rushed, enjoyed the food & the characters probably stopped by our table 3x each just to make sure we were good.

Personally I think this is a great breakfast (we are 2 adults with no kids) & have done it twice. Love the food & the characters are fun. And it's not super pricey either if you are paying OOP compared to other character meals.

we were there this past august for dinner and they ran about 5 minutes behind which is really nothing for WDW. the food there was some of the best buffet food i have had. they have a great selection of food for all taste. the characters were pretty fast around the room and the sisters were great fun to interact with.

We have always been seated relatively soon after our ressie times, but then again, we went earlier, not later. The character interaction was very good - in fact the Mad Hatter was a little 'too' good - almost became a 'pest'!!

We did breakfast there last year. We were seated immediately, and the characters started coming around soon after we were seated. The character interaction was good, and the good was great.

ETA: For the record, we ate at 'Ohana for breakfast the day before and waited maybe 5-10 minutes. It wasn't bad at all.

We had breakfast there in November and were seated immediately. The restaurant was full when we were there and the characters all made it around while we were eating. The restaurant is not huge, so they make the rounds pretty quickly.

It's my favourite...Ohana has some of the worst memories for service and only that Stitch is there will I return.

1900 Park Fare has amazing food, service and character experience. I love it!

we love 1900 Park fare breakfast. We have always been seated on time the food is always good the servers are good and the character interactions there are the best! It is definitely a must do!

It's a tradition for us. We usually do an early breakfast 8-9am, but we are always seated on time or very close. I don't think we stay much past an hour, and all of the characters have come by at least once. Some have repeated if it's not very busy. We enjoy the food too.

We did about a year ago 1900 PF for breakfast- it was great, quick and on time. 6 months ago- we did 1900 PF for dinner- we had an ADR and were seated over an hour and half later. By the time we sat down to eat the yummy food- we were over it. Not that dinner is breakfast, or that my last experience is an indicator- but I would be cautious if I had a time commitment.

It was about 3 years ago, but we had a great experience with this buffet. it was a very quick process and the caracters didn't take too long to show up either. I think we stayed in the restaurent for about an hour.

NOTE1: Characters, subject to change:
. . . Alice
. . . The Mad Hatter
. . . Mary Poppins
. . . Winnie the Pooh
.
NOTE2: The breakfast is actually pretty good among WDW character buffets, which
are known for characters and not known for food quality. It is varied and the quality
is well above average. Arguably only second to Tusker House for character breakfasts.
It is good to mention that character interaction is quite good at both meals. And Grand
Floridian surroundings are well above places like Chef Mickey's. Alas, the self-serve
ice cream machine has been removed.
.
NOTE3: As opposed to other Character Meals, 1900 is usually pretty much held to your ADR time.

They no longer have the lobster benedict :(

Sad to hear. It seems anymore when the prices keep going up Disney also responds with those price increases by eliminating things. :confused3

With that said, I'm still looking forward to our departure day breakfast at 1900 PF this June.
