I know I'm comparing apples to oranges here, but....

I have 6 year old twin girls (almost 7). Would you recommend Hoop Dee Doo Review or dinner at 1900 Park Fare? I know Hoop Dee Doo is great. We've never been, but I've read about it on the boards. If we don't go this trip, we'll be sure to schedule Hoop Dee Doo next trip (my girls will probably be 8 years old then). One of my twins has asked to meet Prince Charming and I've read that dinner at 1900 Park Fare is the only place to meet him. She's not dying to meet him, but just said she'd like to. I'm thinking this could be the last year that my girls are young enough to be interested in meeting characters, but who knows. I should mention we have 3 adults in our party as well.

Which should I book?

That is a tough one, as they are both very different. My favorite dinner in WDW for the fun experience is Hoop Dee Doo. We make sure to do it every trip. We did 1900 PF for dinner 2 years ago and it was our least favorite, for food but the characters were a hit there. If they really want to see Prince Charming, I would say go for 1900 PF this trip and HDDR next trip.

We have done both. HDDR multiple times. PF was ok food wise, great for character interaction, especially Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters. My girls still laugh when thinking about when the sisters put their legs on the table and asked who had the worse "cankles"? :rotfl2: Was cool to get pics with Cindy and Charming together as well.

HDDR is pretty decent comfort food (with all you drink Sangria!) and great entertainment! Every time we've gone was a blast.

I recommend for people that go to WDW, if they have the chance, to do two dining experiences. One is Victoria & Albert's and the other is HDDR.

I would also recommend doing PF now and HDDR on a future trip. HDDR works from 7 to 77+. PF ages the molder kids get, imo.

Enjoy!

If it was just head to head, I'd say Hoop-De-Doo in a heartbeat but your daughter wants to meet Charming so go to 1900 PF.

With ur girls ages, PF. The stepsister are so funny! The adults will enjoy that part for sure. The girls will crack up. Enjoy! My daughter still remembers at 14 and laughs. I tell her she is almost old enough to play Drizella, lol.

With your girls ages it's best to go to PF. They will have a blast. As stated before the sisters are great. The step mother is fun too. We took our 8 yo grandaughter to HHDR and he wasn't that thriled she was into seeing Cindy

I haven't tried the park fare dinner yet (next trip), but the HDD is always a highlight. I always went as a kid and loved it. My kids, 11, 7, 5, all loved it our last trip. They just beamed through the whole thing. The food is nothing to write home about, but it's fine and my picky kids ate it up.
