1900 Park Fare or CRT for our dinner on last night?

I could use some opinions on where I should book ADR's for our last night at Disney. Right now I have 4pm ressies at CRT for dinner. My party consists of dh and I, with ds (6) and dd (3). She is a HUGE princess lover so I thought I'd try to choose one last princess experience. We already have Akershus dinner planned for earlier in the week. We did CRT dinner 2 years ago, and we enjoyed it, but I'm wondering if I should consider changing that ressie to 1900 Park Fare. We've been to Disney countless times but have never been there, and the whole thing with Cinderella and the step sisters/mother sounds like fun. Also, with only 1 TS credit at 1900 it would free up another meal for us.

So what would you do...keep 4pm at CRT or change to 1900?
Also, my concern about leaving MK for dinner is that we won't make it back to the park in time for Spectro Magic and the fireworks. We tend to just stay in the park for our meals and not venture out to the resorts. We tried Chef Mickey's last year for dinner, and it took FOREVER to get out of there, and we ended up missing the fireworks on our last night, which was disappointing. If I had ressies at 1900 for around 5pm should we safely be able to make it back to MK for the parade and fireworks?

If it was me, I would personally switch my ADR to 1900. I've tried both for dinner, and liked 1900 more. We only went to CRT once, and I personally considered it kind of a rip off, and the food wasn't that good.

I won't say 1900 is really great for dinner either, some of the members of my party were a little picky about the food on the buffet, which tends to be a little more exotic than the food at CRT. For example, CRT might have something like prime rib whereas 1900 may have something like seared beef tenderloin in a mushroom demi-glace. I think the food is better, but if you're family's picky some of the dishes there could be a little scarrier.

I think the character interaction at 1900 is probably better, the characters spend more time with you than they do at CRT. The characters there when we went were Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Evil Stepmother and Drazella and Anastasia (the evil stepsisters).

If its an option, we all liked 1900 for breakfast, and this may be a good option if your kids are into Alice in Wonderland and/or Marry Poppins.

This is a tough one. Since you're reeling from missing the fireworks on the last night of your last vacation, I wonder if you should just stick with CRT. The ambiance of the castle is wonderful, though I think the 1900 food and interaction quality is better.

But if you're going to be stressing about making it back for fireworks and spectro, maybe it's not worth heading to the GF.
