1900 Park Fare or Cape May???

I haven't been to either, but are you asking in terms of characters or food?

Just my opinion, but I would choose PF 1900 because of the characters. They regularly have Mary Poppins (one of my favs), Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter. I also like the Grand Floridian setting.

As for the food, I believe that both tend to be reviewed well.

I guess a lot of it will depend on what you're interested in as far as characters -- and what location is most convenient, as well. Cape May is a great place to breakfast if you're heading over to Epcot for the day. PF1900 is perfect if you're heading off to the MK.

From a food perspective, 1900 PF - we have found the food to be significantly better than Cape May or most other breakfast buffets.

We did both and the food and atmosphere and character interaction are 100% bettter at Cape May. 1900 Park Fare is so loud and tightly packed I thought I was going to lose my mind.

I did both last time.

1900 is a bit loud. Cape May is not. Food and character interaction was very good at both.

1900 is easier to get to and from if you are going to MK afterwards. Cape may is easier for Epcot and Studios.

We ate at Cape May for Breakfast a few months ago, and loved it! The character interactions were some of the best we'd ever had, much better than 1900 PF

1900 Park Fare all the way! Love all the characters, and you can ask to be seated in the side room and it is much less noisy. There are only two rows of tables in there so at least you're against a wall. The food was to die for esp. the vanilla bread pudding and omelets. The GF is just beautiful and a great excuse for a boat ride there and back!

I have not had breakfast at either one - but I chose Cape May's breakfast for our trip in two weeks because my children are much more into Mickey and friends than Mary Poppins and Alice.

I have had dinner at PF and thought it to be the most lovely restaurant at DW. The food was very good, and the view of the MK across the lake made for some of the most beautiful pictures we have taken at Disney.

It comes down to what are you in the mood for: More elegant dining or a beach theme? Or for us, which characters you want to see...

We never did PF but we have done breakfast at Cape May and loved it. It is the most relaxing character meal we've done- and we have done quite a few.;) The characters are always floating around and the food is quite good. It just seemed to be quieter and a slower pace than the other character meals.

We've never done 1900 PF for breakfast, but we do a Cape May one every trip.....we love the buffet there :cool1: :cool1:. And the characters are all dressed in beach wear....very cute ;).

1900 hands down --breakfast, dinner both excellent . The quality of the food just seems so much better than other buffet style restaurants.

Is the boat ride from inside MK?
