I've been to Chef Mickeys and it was great. Never been to 1900 PF.

Now I have ADRs to Chef Mickeys and 1900 PF on the same day and I need to cancel one. I prefer the time of the 1900 PF and am thinking about cancelling Chef Mickey's. Before I cancel I just wanted to make sure the food was just as good at 1900 PF and that my kids will have a good character experience like they had the first time they visited Chef Mickeys.

Opinions Please.

The character experience at 1900 is excellent (especially the step sisters) but the experience is completely different from CM. I think the food is very good at both.

what meal? i've never been to CM for anything other than breakfast. and while it was okay, it definitely was not the best breakfast we've had there (DH doesn't even want to go back). we LOVE 1900 park fare though. and we will continue to go back to eat there.

You don't indicate which meal. We were very disappointed in our last dinner at CM's and have not gone back (in fact, we no longer do lunch/dinner buffets at Disney except for Biergarten or Cape May Cafe). We've not done 1900 Park Fare but I have read mixed reviews on the food -- too salty, etc., but the character interaction is great.

The food is much better at 1900, but the kids will probably enjoy CM more.

If it were for me, I'd go to 1900. If it were for a child I cared about, I'd suck it up and head over to Chef Mickey's.

The characters at 1900 are fine, just as they are at CM. I don't know which characters your kids prefer more and that's really the deciding factor re: characters.

Have fun, wherever you decide to go!

Oops sorry. It's for Dinner. I really want to go to CM but my ressies are for 9:15 pm. I'm afraid my kids will be asleep (DS6 and DD2). But I really liked the food when we were there last time.

1900 PF Ressies are for 5pm. I think I'll try PF just because we've never done it before. Plus it won't be the only character meal that we are doing during that week.

I really just wanted to make sure the food was good. I looked at the menu online but wanted to hear about it from all of you. Thanks by the way.

Park Fare wins with us hands down. We think the food is far better and the buffet area isnt as dirty looking as it was at CM. Also, with a little DD it's the only place you can meet Prince Charming and he will make over her. The step sisters are a blast also.

We really, really like CM. We liked the food and the experience.

That said . . .

We really, really LOVE 1900PF! :thumbsup2

Last time we went, there were 4 adults and my 2 dd's. We all thought the food was the best buffet we'd had in WDW (and didn't particularly care for the CP dinner buffet that everyone else seems to love, maybe off/on nights for each? don't know, but we really enjoyed the food at 1900PF). And the experience . . . Lady Tremaine is FANTASTIC. Hands-down the best 'face' character I've ever interacted with at WDW. The step-sisters (Anastasia and Drizella) are a RIOT. Cinderella is of course, the consummate princess. And my older dd got to dance with Prince Charming . . . she *still* talks about it to this day!

So, my vote is (obviously, lol) 1900PF!

I would give up CM (I can't believe my hands are typing this :scared1:) for several reasons...the 1900 PF ressies time is perfect for your kids...you've done CM and have never done 1900...you should experience both....both are enjoyable both food is great....that's what I think
