I have PS for dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and Prince Charming. I'm having reservations about my reservation. My daughters and niece are ages 15, 14, and 10. Do you think they will look or feel out of place or "too old" to attend? Will they look out of place compared to the little girls dressed up like Cinderella, etc.? And do you think the characters will pay attention to them? We have 4:30 reservations - is this a croweded time? Lots of questions in this post!

No, Go! It's a dinner buffet... if you dont' want the interaction with the Characters you don't have to have that much... they will take the hint and move on to the next table. Go, enjoy the food.... Don't worry about the little girls dressed up... enjoy your meal!

I think they will have a great time...we went in 2003 with DS who was 11 1/2 and we loved it! The food was a bit more "adult"....pasta bar where the chef makes it to your specs, mussels in garlic and butter, prime rib and the to die for chilled strawberry soup which was so yummy I ate it for the soup and the dessert! The atmosphere is mor adult also...I really don't remember seeing many young girls in princess costumes...and hey, Prince Charming was quite a looker....didn't mind him coming to our table...

I think they will do great and have a super time!

Thanks for your encouragement. This will be my niece's first time ever to DW and for her 8th grade graduation gift (we do 8th grade graduations here in IL) I thought I'd give her a scroll all decorated up and inside the info about a dinner with the Handsome Prince! And I do want the characters to give the girls attention - I just worried the characters would think the girls were too old. Thanks for your help!

Where abouts in Illinois do ya'll do graduation for 8th grade? There aren't many places left that do here in southern Illinois...Carterville is about the only place that I know of...perhaps you're located in the northern part of the state. Just curious...

As a suggestion...you might want to speak with the CMs at the entrance to 1900 Park Fare...or even with Prince Charming himself...let them know that you are celebrating your niece's 8th grade graduation...I suspect they might be able to pull off a swirl of two for a special celebration.

Enjoy the trip...take loads of photos!!!
