1900 Park Fare breakfast

Hi, I hear that Alice and the mad hatter as well as mary poppins are there for br. We are planning to have B there too, but not until Jan 12. I can't wait!

Check my June Dining review like I told you in the Dining Review thread.

I just did it like 4 days ago and it was the best breakfast I have ever had at Disney!

Characters are usually Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, and 2 of the Pooh gang (normally Pooh and Tigger, but we had Eeyore once instead of Pooh).

We loved the food and the characters. After CRT, I was most looking forward to this meal. I mean, I got to eat breakfast with Mary Poppins! :goodvibes

When we went we had an excellent Alice and marvelous Mad Hatter, Tigger and Poo, Mary Poppins. Food was outstanding. Never been a big fan of buffets but this is a gourmet buffet. It's worth every penny for both the intimate character interaction and the stellar dishes. Everybody raves about the strawberry soup. And they should. I had low expectations but if I could have smuggled that stuff out in my bag I would have. Go for it! Best character dining deal on property, guaranteed.

They were running waaay behind. So plan some extra waiting time. I love the GF, so it was nice to have an excuse to go there though.

In March, we saw Alice, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Pooh & Tigger. Pooh & Tigger were great. Alice was fine. MP was ok. MH wasn't that good. (We were 2 adults only, but still.) Anyway, kids will love all! :)

My DH - who loves his breakfast buffets - did not like this one as much. He liked Chef Mickey's better. That will go against conventional wisdom here I believe. I liked both . . . I think I liked Park Fare a bit better. It is a little more gourmet. I do like the characters better at Chef Mickey's.

We ate there last month and I have to say it was a VERY good buffet!! The food was wonderful and we all found so many things we liked!
Now, I will say we were really looking forward to the characters at this meal. We had heard that the Mad Hatter is hilarious --well the one we got wasn't very good at all. He barely interacted with the kids and the kids were bummed b/c they were expecting someone funny. Mary Poppins rushed so much that we had to call her back to get her to sign the kids' autograph books. Pooh & Tigger had the best interaction and stayed the longest and Alice was okay. My husband was irritated b/c we weren't on the dining plan and it was a very expensive breakfast. We both said if we were paying out of pocket again we would go somewhere else.
