We've done both in the past year. Both times the service and food were just okay. I would give the edge to dinner because it's a more unique character experience--almost like a little show--more than just the standard rotation for pics and autographs.
We loved the characters at breakfast but there was nothing special about the food. they did have the strawberry soup for breakfast so I was happy! they had make your own omlets with several toppings to add. There was a bit of a wait for them though since they could only make 4 at a time. Not too bad.
I'd prefer dinner over breakfast. the food in our opinion was good! Loved the chocolate moose cups for dessert too!
I have done both breakfast and dinner. I found the food to be good at both...not outstanding but hardly as bad as people often claim. The character interaction is also good at both, but I have to say of all the character meals I have done, the 1900 Park Fare dinner is outstanding. The stepsisters had us in stitches and made the whole experience awesome. I have ADR for my grandchildren and I during our upcoming visit and can't wait.
DINNER! We ate both breakfast and dinner here last week, and dinner was one of our best experiences the whole week. The characters were fun for breakfast too, but no way they could top the interaction with the Tremaines from dinner. Dinner is covered in my Trip Report already if you want to see what I mean, hopefully I will get to breakfast in the TR soon.
We have only been to the dinner, but that was lots of fun! DH, who does not like character meals, was laughing at this one. There was a nice dessert table too! Yummmm. I wouldn't hesitate to go again.
For the dinner, our seating was very late >1 hour. The food was ok, but by then we were just ready to eat. The characters were very cute with DS3.
Breakfast was a better experience. We had one of the 1st seatings. They made special seating accommodations for our Autistic niece. The food was very good.
I would do b-fast again, but try somewhere else for dinner.
We been to both and character interaction are very good. Dinner meal was not so good but had one of the best character experience...the step sitters was great and Cinderella asked my son to dance with her and then the step sitters came over and talked to my son and wanted to see if he wants to marry them and the step mother was great with him too. Breakfast meal was good...I love that I can get eggs made to order and the characters came to our table 4x and my son loved the attention with Pooh and Tiger...they played games with him.
Went to both our last trip. I would go back to dinner, probably not for breakfast.
Breakfast food was same as we could get anywhere else on a buffet line. The Mad Hatter was a hoot and truly insane .... and characters overall were okay for us. But the sound level in there was out of control. In the morning guess all those kiddies have way too much energy. Couldn't even hear myself think it was so bad. Put a real damper on the entire meal.
Dinner food was good for buffet. Not on the level of a Boma but felt like you are going for the characters. The characters were AWESOME !!! They spent plenty of time with us, played off each other, were SO in character. Really was alot of fun !
