Would you do both breakfast & dinner (were on the deluxe dining plan) if you wanted to see the characters from both? Or is that overkill?

Of course I didn't reserve them for the same day or anything. We are also planning Akershus and CRT.

I'm thinking we should possibly skip 1900 Park Fare for dinner, but one DD LOVES Prince Charming. Is there another place to see Prince Charming?

We did both breakfast and dinner during our 10 day trip. One is breakfast food and the other is dinner food. No problems.

It was the only place we saw Prince Charming.

Are you staying at Grand Floridian? If not, that seems like a little much.

If my kids wanted to see different characters that were only going to be at either breakfast or dinner I would have no problem booking the same place two times on the same trip. We have been to both breakfast (quiter and more laid back) and dinner (pretty lound and raucous) and the experience is so totally different that except for the decor you won't even know you are at the same place.

Food will be different, characters will be different so really, the only thing the same is the room you eat in!! I LOVE the dinner, I have never done the breakfast but I would imagine its just as good.

I guess im in the minority because i HATED the 1900 dinner. Food was disapointing, very crappy selection. BUT i did love the decor AND the characters. OMG the characters were A RIOT! :rotfl2::lmao: I just loved it!!!

I know im not much help, LOL!!

I probably wouldnt do both dinner AND breakfast on one trip. Thats just my opinion thou cause i get bored easily. Lol. It seems like a bit much.

I'm in that minority with you. While the characters of Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drisella were a riot, and the decor was excellent, the food was not good at all. This is my least favorite restaurant in WDW when it comes to TS. It's gonna take a whole lot more than the chilled strawberry soup to get me to return. :goodvibes

We did both and it was wonderful ! We were staying at the GF, so we made 1900 PF our arrival dinner and our last day's breakfast. It was a really nice way to begin and end our trip. :goodvibes

They're really totally different with totally different characters. So you won't feel like it's a "do-over". Dinner is hilarious with the Lady Tremaine and the Step Sisters. It's worth it JUST for them !!! Breakfast was very nice, although I don't think we'd do it again. For Pooh and Tigger, I'd rather go to CP. ( the Mad Hatter was terrific though.) on our day, Alice was MIA. We had Mary Poppins and Bert....they were very good as well.

Do both. Though, to me, the food quality went down when the added the Steps to dinner (and did away with Suzy and Perla.)

We also did both and I agree, it's a different experience from breakfast to dinner. My siblings (11 and 4 at the time) said that they found the characters to be annoying at breakfast but the restaurant was fun to look at. However, they loved the Cinderella bunch at dinner and totally didn't realize it was the same restaurant. Yup, we did breakfast and dinner on the same day. Just worked better for our plans that way.

If you want to meet different characters, I'd say definitely do both. It's a good value on the Deluxe plan.

I've had breakfast (50th birthday) and loved having breakfast with Mary Poppins - best birthday EVER. AND, had the white chocolate slipper (YUM). I also have had dinner there with family two years ago and it was just an incredible experience for the 5 year niece decked in the Cinderella attire. I would definitely go back to both. I liked both meals very much, but it's not all about the food to me.
:yay::thumbsup2

I don't think it's too much at all. As other pp have mentioned, it will be different characters & different food. I think it would be fun doing both. We went this summer for dinner and the food was wonderful!!!! Everything we had was fresh and delicious. We also liked the large variety. The characters were by far the best on property! Out of all our character meals, it was my girls' favorite.

Oh my gosh! I would have loved to have seen these two!! :goodvibes I absolutely love Mary Poppins and Bert! How lucky! :lovestruc

LOL okay you said you woouldn't do them both on the same day well we just did :lmao: It was a fantastic day :lmao: Honestly we enjoy both and always do both on our trips, not always on the same day though;)

Do it! 1900 park fare is such a relaxing place to meet the characters because all of them spend a good amount of time at your table (unlike the Crystal Palace or Cinderella's Royal Table )
Plus they have great, fresh food!

I did both dinner and breakfast food. It is fine.
It is really good. What a delicious food they have.

I would not do either of them because the food at both was horrible

We were there a few weeks ago and did dinner at 1900 and it was fabulous. The buffet was one of the better ones we experienced. They have added a dessert (ice cream sundae) that is served at your table at the end of your meal in addition to having selections on the buffet. Have never done the breakfast but would like to sometime.

We did both of them on our last trip and like others have said, it's 2 different experiences since it's breakfast and dinner :). I don't think it's over kill, especially if you want to see the different characters ;).

Do it!!

We are staying for 12 nights and have breakfast and dinner booked.

Dinner is with friends who are travelling at the same time, we have BBB booked for the 3 girls, then later we'll head over to the GF for a fun night with the ugly sisters.

Then breakfast is later that week - just DH, DS, DD and I. We also have Akershus, Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, Cape May breakfast and Crystal Palace booked!!

It's Disney World - you're allowed to go character crazy!! :goodvibes
