Going in seven days, with three girls 5,3 and 1 and one 5 year old boy. Scheduled a dinner at 1900 at the Grand. Leaving MK, taking the monorail over and going to have a little Dinnah (Massachusetts speak for supper).
Anyone have any great stories, horror moments, like and dislikes for this restaurant. This is our first experience there. Looking very much forward to it.

This was our favorite character meal last trip! My daughter was in awe with the Prince and my son got kissed by Drizella. Cinderella spent a lot of time with both of them, and Lady Tremaine invited me to play bridge at Beast's castle. So fun!!!

Food was great, as were the characters. The only complaint I really had was it felt really tight in there and a bit more chaotic than a lot of the buffets (could have just been our night), but would definitely go back.

Food was awesome and absolutely loved the character interaction! Our favorite by far was the evil stepmother! She said to my husband when we told her we met at work "he makes you work with your hands? Why didn't you hold out for the rich uncle" she's hysterical! Got a great pic with her as well. Enjoy!

Echoing what others have said, the character interaction is superb there, and the food is above average buffet fare. It is quite noisy in there, but given the ages of your kids, I suspect that won't be an issue. Now, for you, that could be a factor! ;)

We loved 1900 PF.
Since we don't get to go to WDW a lot, we like to try different restaurants.
But we will eat at 1900 PF again. We loved it. The food and character interaction were great.
We joked that we had to be rolled out of there since we ate so much.

This was one of our favorite meals 2 years ago. The character interaction was awesome and made the meal. I thought the food was good but a little on the high side since we were paying out of pocket. They do have to most options of all the buffets that we had.

DW and I went two years ago for supper. We had great interaction with Lady Tremaine, even though we were "just" two adults. This year, we are taking our new DS (turning 8 on this trip) for breakfast. Its actually going to be his first Disney meal and character interaction.....in just 6 days.

The characters at dinner are fantastic, very funny and interactive. My fiance and I did not care for the buffet though. It's not that the food was bad, but I think we just expected more from it. As someone how does not eat red meat or dairy there were few option for me, which I found odd since it was a buffet. However, the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in my opinion is wonderful and I would dine there again for that.
