Im just curious as to what most will suggest....

Im second guessing my choices. Let me give a little background before you give your suggestions..

We are two young adults. 26 and 23. I am the Disney freak and the easy pleaser...I will find something I like wherever I go. DBestFriend is slowly learning to be a Disney freak. Shes a very picky eater. She likes simple foods, nothing over the top or exotic. Hardly eats any meat. She enjoys buffets so that she can pick and choose what she wants. She loves Italian and Chinese food, and most times when I make her try things, she winds up liking them. Its just getting her to try things thats the hard part!

We are heading to MK for EMH in June and looking for a TS prior to hitting the park that night. Im not a fan of TS's in the MK, so I am looking for a TS in the MK area. We have Chef Mickeys and WCC planned for later in the week.

Where do you think we should go? OHana's of 1900 Park Fare? Im a little cautious with the characters at 1900...I dont mind character dining at CP, or CM..but for some reason I feel a little silly about two adults and no kids dining with Cinderella & friends... maybe its because they can actually TALK to us but, I feel odd? But Im sure I could and will get over it!

Based on our background, where do you think we should eat? O'Hana? 1900 Park Fare? We have never been to either. Im curious!

O'hana hands down, it is one of our favorites. If you are looking for other suggestions......a quick trip on the monorail to EPCOT would get you to Le Cellier or Teppan Edo which are both FABULOUS. Ive never been to Tokyo Dining but great reviews on disboards. Just giving some more suggestions.

I would pick ohana. I have eaten there on my last 2 trips and have an ADR made for my next trip. I did 1900 Park fair for dinner, did not like it. Food was not that good. We did not have great Cinderella or Prince Charming. (loved the breakfast there)

I have heard great things about the Wave, you might want to look at that menu.

It sounds to me like you would prefer 'Ohana but your friend would prefer 1900. While we always fill up at 'Ohana there definitely aren't as many food choices as there are at 1900, especially for those who don't lean to the carnivorous side, lol. :rotfl:

Having said that, my family by far prefers 'Ohana. We like the atmosphere, the entertainment, and the food better. And *I* like that it's family style vs. buffet. I get tired of buffets, but then I have a six year old. ;)

I like the suggestion of checking out The Wave menu to see if anything interests you there. And although you don't want to eat inside the MK, Crystal Palace might be another one to consider. It's furry characters so no talking involved, it's buffet so plenty of options for your friend, and it's convenient since it's where you're going anyway.

I have eaten at both places and love both places but I think I would recommend 1900 Park Fare.

My niece and I ate here in March. I was a littler nervous at first and wasn't sure what to expect from the characters. So funny! Even when the characters weren't at our table it was funny to watch and hear them interact with the other tables. This is now one of my favorite meals. Some of my favorite memories of the trip come from our dinner here.

The buffet had a good variety of food and was pretty good however I totally recommend going for the character interaction.

Have fun deciding and have a great trip!
