180 days out... why can't I make a reservation?

I've verified the dates... 180 days from today is 11/23 but the Disney World website shows that every day of our stay, including the 23rd, is unavailable for making a dining reservation.

Technically it's only 179 days from when we arrive - once the clock hit midnight eastern time it's 180 days from 11/24 (the day after we arrive).

What's up?!?!? I was sitting here ready to make a weeks worth of dining reservations and can't even get the first day taken care of.

The reservation system won't accept reservations until:

Online: 6 AM Eastern time
Phone: 7 AM Eastern time

I haven't checked your dates so if today is your 180 day you may be a few hours too early.

But if we arrive on 11/23 then 180 days out would have been Monday the 27th. That's why I'm confused... I figured I was "late" since I didn't make them during the day on Monday.

When I calculated the dates 180 days from 11/23 was Monday, 5/27.

But when I went to the Disney website it has 11/23 and every day after shaded and when you click on those dates it says they can't search for reservations. Click on 11/22 and it's no problem.

Guess I'll have to wait and call tomorrow... but by then it will be 179 days from arrival so I'm confused as to why it won't work on the website. Wonder if it's because today is a holiday - though I didn't think that would matter.

Thanks for the reply!!! Sounds like starting at 6AM EST on Monday I should have been able to make reservations for 11/23.

Just a short thread, but it seems like you may not be alone in your frustration. Sounds like the system is having more problems:

Was able to get reservations made this morning. Missed out on 50's Primetime Cafe for Thanksgiving. That's been a family tradition.

But did get dinner one night at Be our Guest which is a must since we haven't seen it yet.
