Hi,

I will be a CM for a year in Epcot and my girlfriend is coming to visit in November for 10 days from the UK.

We are now at the 180 day mark for reservations as will have the DDP but I haven't yet booked accommodation as I will get discount on that being a CM.

My question is, we have tried some restaurants such as Crystal Palace for Dinner, Via Napoli and at 180 days when the system starts up on the day, there has been either nothing or really early or late reservations.
Is this due to the 180 +10 for some people that is causing the lack of reservations or is it best to call up sometimes or just keep trying weeks on to try get the reservation?

We want CRT which I have a feeling will be a mission in itself!!

Any help would be great!

Thanks,

Jack

I've been having issues with making reservations and I am within 111 days. The site and the app have both been wonky lately. However, in regards to your question, with Be our guest I'm seeing CRT open a lot for my trip. Good luck!

The 180 + 10 will make it harder for you to get reservations, especially if you are trying for the most popular restaurants or character meals or the popular meal times (e.g. pre-park res, 11-1, 5-7). Also if you have just reached the 180 day, you are also competing with guests who have gotten free dining for November vacations.

You can keep checking online as often as you want to see if a better time comes up. People will cancel when their plans change because of the no show penalty. The cancellation re-enters the system almost immediately so it's a matter of luck that you are online checking when a cancellation shows up.

Congratulations and hope you enjoy your year! :)
