Sadly I think I already know the answer to this, but wanted to be sure it was not a glitch. When you have a 1 day reservation + a 7 day reservation, guess I have to wait until the 7 day (180 window) one to make my ADRs. Only one day is opening this morning, so I guess it doesn't detect the fact that you are just changing rooms. :( So sad I was up to make ADRs this AM. Guess I should have checked up on this before.

Yes, sadly that is true. Disney doesn't recognize a split stay or room change even though you're staying on Disney property.

I have 4 nights at one resort and then 3 nights at another. I could only book for the first dates at the 180-day window, then had to wait a few days until my 2nd 180-day window opened.

Stinks that we have to get up early TWICE, lol.

I don't understand why this is. 180+10, it really is more like 180 with a max of 10 or the length of stay. I have a split stay coming up and my 180 mark is 5/4, but the 180 mark for the second reservation s not until 5/11

It is no longer 180+10. It is 180 + length of stay. Each time you move it is a new stay.

It ended up working out for me, but I don't think I would be doing a split stay again. Much more convenient to do it all on one day.

Qustion - I'm coming up on my 180+ in a couple days and I wanted to know what time the reservations open? IS it midnight EST? You mentioned getting up early so maybe it's 6 EST (which would be 3 AM for me?)

You used to be able to call in and reserve your second stay reservations over the phone, but that recently changed. I think it's a change for the worse.

Is it 180+length of stay or 180+length of stay maximum 10 days? Friends are staying 14 days and wondering if they can make all their reservations on one day 180+14, or if they will have to do 180+10, then the next morning the 11th day, next morning 12th day and so on.
Thanks.

As long as it is a continuous stay at one resort (no split stays) they can make all their ADR's 180 days prior to the first day of their reservation.

thanks eveeyone 4 imfo. im freaking out a bit - have to make reservations at 3 AM right before the Tinkerbell 10K ! Wondering how many people at the pixie dust challenge doing Wine and Dine will be in the same predicament

Does the 180 + length of stay include the day I check out? We are staying Dec 19-23 and am wondering if I can book the 23rd at 180 days out from the 19th or is the last day I can book an ADR on the 22 (the last night we stay)?

Actually for my friend it turned out to be 180+10 on the first day, She couldn't book beyond that and then the next booking day the next vacation opened up. So it appears to be 180+max 10 days length of stay.
HTH.
