180 + 10 reservations with no dining plan

If we have a resort reservation (room only), can we still do 180 + 10 dining reservations or can you only do that if you have the dining plan booked?? I am thinking about getting the dining plan, but probably won't decide until closer to the trip.

Its not a super big deal, but I want to get California Grill at fireworks time and it would be on our 3rd day. I wonder if all the ADRs will fill up for fireworks time if I wait until day 180??

Yes. All you need is a reservation number.

The dining plan doesn't matter. You just need to be staying onsite to access 180 + 10.
