Hi - We are doing a split stay with a DCL cruise in between the 2 stays. The total amount of time is 10 days for the vacation, including the cruise. So it's 3 nights WL, 4 nights cruise, then 2 nights AKL.

My 180 day window is tomorrow for the 1st night at WL. Will I be able to book any ADRs for the AKL nights tomorrow or do I have to wait for that 180 window to open up? My thoughts is that I will have to wait. :(

Thanks!

You will have to wait until 180 days of your check in date at the 2nd resort to make those ADRs.

Is this a change? Used to be able to book for the next 10 days regardless of check-out. Things may be under stricter control with MDX...

I'm not sure if it's a change but it is definitely the rule now. I was only able to book the first portion of my split stay at 180 days and then had to wait a week for the next 180 window to open on the second stay.

I stand corrected. Made a dummy reservation and was not able to book past my check out date. Darn technology! :)
