18 take on the World for Birthday surprises, some first times and a lot of fun!!

What a great start to your day, breakie with Mary Poppins and Alice! I'm glad Chloe had such a nice surprise! We have found the rain to be a good thing, if it's not knee high, it does clear out the lines!:thumbsup2 I'm looking forward to reading more!

So we decided to head over to meet bro and SIL but before we do a quick ride on Goofys

HPIM1703.jpg

After Goofy's we headed over to Tomorrowland and spotted Buzz, so as we queued for Buzz the folks went over to Space Mountain to meet Bro and SIL with a sleeping M4, we went over straight after and realised the queue time for SM was 10 mins, what?? The rain was on our side after all .. SM is my all time fave ever, i first rode it when i was 10 in DL and loved it ever since .. unfortunately my stomach was not up to it so i had to pass this time .. mum stayed with M4, Bf and i took E9 :cheer2: and S7 pirate: to Stitch as he is a huuuuge Stitch fan and everyone else went on SM ..
Now the Stitch 'ride' is probably my least fave in WDW but i have to say until you've been on it with a Stitch fan you haven't done it hahhha he thought everything was happening to JUST him bless him so cute!
From here we found everyone else and decided to do Monsters Inc Laugh Floor .. Now when we went 2 years ago we had no idea what this was all about, so in we went and my brother got picked out to be "THAT GUY" .. Cut forward to this time and Cj insisting that we sit on the exact same row as before so that someone with us will be picked, well wouldn't you know it the little blighter was right and Bf's hubby got picked this time hahaha it was hilarious and a wee bit embarassing for him however the kids loooved it :rotfl: As we left a family behind us with kids followed us all the way out of tomorrowland shouting 'Hey it's that guy' and pointing and laughing again hilarious to all those it wasn't happening to (sorry hun)
Now normally we are at the parks from open to close no matter what but i had b'day surprises to carry out so we started making our way to Main St .. stopped for a few pics near the castle and all the girls did the ones holding Tinkerbell

We are booked for our meal at 5 and i knew with all the slight toing and froing we had to leave at 4 at the latest so we headed down Main St and we saw these guys
Disney154.jpg

Now cj plays the trombone and my dad played the tuba in brass bands for years so we stopped to have a listen, hey we had time after all i was in charge :lmao:
Cue this guy
Disney151.jpg

Who scared me half to death, which amused the eldest girls an awful lot, i on the other hand was not pleased at seeing that face that close up, but ok i'll admit it, it was a little funny :rotfl:

So this all still a surprise for Cj we catch the monorail back to the GF, hop into the cars with the sun shining down on us and drive to DTD .. Now Cuz and family were meeting us there at 5 and the last thing i said to Cuz's hubby was 'Don't forget it's entrance 3, that's the nearest'
Right about now i start to think .. How great the day had gone and i could not believe that Cj hadn't guessed any of it at all .. So we pull up and park and walk staright towards T-Rex and i say tadah hahhahaha ok not quite but you get the jist, so we book in and wait for Cuz, who i'm sure will be here any minute .. After waiting 15 they decide to seat us and we txt cuz to tell them .. so they lead us right through to the back .. now i chose this for a few reasons, 2 major dino fans, we've never eaten here and it has a build a dino next to it, which was important to the birthday girl
Disney159.jpg
Disney157.jpg
Disney156.jpg

So cuz and the fam finally arrived and of course her hubby had not taken entrance 3 which meant more driving and getting stuck at lights etc and all the while she is saying 'Erin told you' hahahha hmm bet that went down well but at last we were all there and together .. so we order!
Now i hadn't eaten all day, stomach still uneasy and not right at all i decide i should order something light, not too strong flavour but still yummy .. The next pic is really to show what i got .. i ordered the chicken pot pie, who knew it would be that big, but OH MY was it goooood so goood

Then came the moment i had been waiting for, time for the cake! Now i hadn't seen it at all after ordering it due to being so sick  and Cj had no clue and after this morning with the slipper i don't think she even thought about getting a cake!

Can't seem to post anymore pics or writing so i will carry on in next post

Loving the updates Erin....... shame about the tummy bug, but good you still had fun!! I like the look of T-Rex - was it "worth" it? for just a family meal say? Looking for something different for us this time.

Hey Erin! Just found the continuation of your PTR!

I had no idea you had a SIL issue..... Why must they do this to us???

And also didn't realize you were flying with a "chicken." I am a chicken flier too, but haven't yet tried meds for it. I just get scared when I fly. I never had this problem until Ally was born now all I think about is all the "what ifs." What if the plane has a problem. It can't pull over to a cloud and call AAA to come and help out. Stupid stuff like that. I guess being a CF makes it hard for me to turn over control to the pilot....

Looking forward to more!!!!

Oh Kara i just don't know .. to be honest at times it was so awful on holiday that i haven't been able to face her since otherwise i may want to do some damage :headache: it sucks!!

Oh my cuz is moooore than a chicken ... poor her it's just so awful for her, she starts worrying months before and doesn nothing but talk about it and about how awful she is putting her babies on a plane to die .. and it's not if something happens it's when it happens .. it really is so awful and this time was the worst she has been for a while, she didn't fly at all for 10 years because of it until she had the kids and wanted to take them to places. You're right one of her things is the fact that she's not in charge of the flying, it's the controller in her i think

Yes Tammie you're right the rain was with us after all, it was great hardly anybody around or queuing for things .. She loved all the surprises, she was a lucky lucky girl

Oh yes definitely, the prices aren't too bad at all and the kids spent ages afterwards wandering around looking at everything
Yes the stomach bug was horrid but it was my babys b'day so i muddled through, not sure how at some points in the day hahhaa.
Cake coming up

Loved T-Rex, I agree with you, thought it was totally worth it. Great pics you got there. I like the one of the girls looking back on Goofy's Barnstormer. :) Can't wait to hear how Cj reacted when she got her cake. What a trooper you were even though you felt lousy!

Ok once again i tried to finish the post and comp died before i got the chance to post it grgrggrgrggrr:headache: it's driving me crazy

So we've all finished and everyone but Chloe knows the cake is on its way, perfect timing for my camera battery to die yes :headache: thankfully my dad took over

Sorry the last pic is sooooo big but i wanted you to see a close up without it all being too small, all the fairies have little stamp pads on the bottom and it came with an ink pad it was great, lasted us ages and ages .. it was well worth every penny!!
She really was surprised and really could not believe it!
So after a quick play on the dinos and a good wander around we headed out!

The last semi surprise of the evening was Build a Dino we headed that way and as we did my aunt and cuz told Cj their b'day pres was to go spend money in there :rotfl: so a very excited Chloe did hahah .. All the others had money saved etc so all 7 kids got a dino

The lady that the birthday girl, S7 and E4 had was great they had so much fun with her whilst making their dinos

So after much money spent and much fun had, all kiddos had bought dinos so we headed home to fall into our beds aftera very long, full but fabulous day!!

Oh my, Chloe's cake is lovely!! What a fantastic job they did on it. So many great surprises for her that day. No doubt the kids all had fun making those dino's. Glad everyone had such a good time that day.

That was a really cute cake. Sounds like your daughter had a great time.

I had to read all the posts before I decided to join in! What a grand gathering!! It's always interesting traveling with family (and sometimes not so interesting ;)) Sorry to hear you were sick (and still feeling the effects of the bug). Your DD's cake is absolutely gorgeous! I wish I had a granddaughter to treat for our next trip (don't think my DGS who will be 3 on our trip would appreciate Tinkerbell :rotfl2:). You did a fabulous job of planning :thumbsup2

Thankyou .. the cake was from publix, i looked at all the ones made at disney places and some got great reviews and others really didn't, publix have so many cakes along the lines of the one we had and such a good price too.
I love being with my family, new additions just take some getting used to!! ;)

Before we went we bought all our tickets and have been to the Space Centre before and really enjoyed it so off we go, only 9 of us
Me and DD .. Bf, hubby and their 3 kiddos .. Pops and cuz's hubby
The others fancied a pool day and didn't think the littlies would get much from it.
So off we went, a bit of a drive from us to there but it was a nice drive, we saw soooo many armadillos on our way, now all the times i have been to FL not once have i seen an armadillo, well on our journey to and from the SC we saw tons of them!
Disney176.jpg

Originally there was supposed to be a rocket launch which is why we went today, unfortunately as we got there we found out it had been postponed :headache: never mind on we go .. we wander around all the things to see, the rocket garden is my fave i think

We then head over to go on the simulator which is something we didn't do before and on the way get some drinks and a snack, leftover pizza from last night .. to which this bird seemed to want some of
DSCF5199.jpg

Unfortunately poor Chloe had a slice in her hand which he wanted, he swooped down and ripped it out of her hand, made her bleed and cry!! Poor love! Have to say it was a little funny but i won't tell her that ;)

So over to the simulator, which was great

We had a really good day but certainly not a full and long day so we decided to head home as the sun was coming out and join the others in the pool

After this we all dried off and headed out for dinner to Ponderosa, we bought Kids eat free cards before we went and these came in very handy for us as they were all in use in places we go to anyway!

Hi Erin! I'm so glad Chloe had such a fun party! The cake turned out great:thumbsup2 Too bad about the rocket launch. And the scarey birds! There are a couple of DIS friends on another thread who were terrorized by birds as children, and still are fearful of birds! :rotfl2: Looks like you are having a great time with the fam so far.

Oh man, that stinks about the shuttle launch. The pool looks great. Must have been nice having one all to yourselves. Poor Chloe, nasty bird!

Thanks for reading along everyone, have been so busy painting these last couple of weeks haven't had a chance to update, will def get more done this weekend

Thanks Tammie, yes i was really really pleased with the cake. Oh i had a great fear of birds for a long time until recently, i just hope this doesn't affect Cj like that

Thanks Lisa .. pool was lovely, we do love having one to ourselves, unfortunately due to weather we didn't use it as much as we have before but the kids certainly did on quite a few evenings

Hope everything is ok on your end. Was looking forward to another update. Still patiently waiting. :)

Hey Erin! Just got all caught up - hey, Jeff was "that guy" a couple of years ago and Ally STILL laughs about it!!!

Looks like a sweet pool in your house!!! I hate that the launch was delayed when you were here - they are INCREDIBLE to see live!
