$179 at Contemporary-a deal?

I have a chance to go to a conference this summer and it would be $179 a night for a double. Is this a really good deal or just ok? I did check and they say rooms are usually $270 but I wonder with a code... I am thinking this may be our only chance to afford the Contemporary (usually POR).

Yes I would say it was a good deal. Even if you had a 40% off code that would make the room around $160 (based off of $270.) Codes are hard to come by. I would book the sure thing!

thanks for the posts. I am really wanting to go. I will share others opinions with my better half (who has the bigger salary too) to help convince him. Plus I think I get two of my meals taken care of at the conference... I just don't know how I will concentrate knowing the MK is right there

I know the Contemporary was recently redone. Are there old rooms there they might stick us in? thanks again

All the rooms have been remodeled. The bigger question is the room location and view. You probably don't have a choice there to get the discount, but it might be worht asking about....

If the OP were not to get a room in the Tower no matter the view, they will end up in the South Garden Wing. The only question there is what type of Garden Wing view would they end up with?
